At least half the people will say no because it takes too much time, but I don't care. I want the right calls, especially at crucial times late in the game. I have always wanted a replay system in the NBA, it would be very beneficial and the bad calls late in games would be corrected. But no, instead of adding this, Stern takes his beloved time banning spandex.
The only way I would want it is if the calls were quickly reviewed by the people upstairs and then communicated with the referee's on the ground. The NBA game is built on speed and momentum and having a referee looking over a call like the NFL referee's do it...No way...
Yes but they should have some rules which won't slow down the pace too much. Like a coach can't be allowed to throw a flag in the middle of a fast break or anything but if it's one of those moments were the play isn't going on and the coach and players are pissed and it's a play that'll cause everyone to talk about the game getting rigged, then in those cases they need it.
Hell no! This would be terrible cause coaches would use their challenge when the other team is gaining momentum and starting to go on a run, the challenge of a play would just kill the momentum for a team. And we all know that basketball is a game of runs so I think this would be a terrible idea.
