Giving the man his due and credit. very difficult beginning of the season but he managed his team. He improved the team in some very crucial areas and has now this team has become a tough out in the playoffs. Would love to see them be a little more consistent at home where you need to be a lot better in the playoffs...
Yeah he did a great job with this team, especially after the slow start. For just the 2nd time in 17 years we start a playoff season at home. Good stuff. And yes, that is why I was happy we got much better at home as the season moved on. Our home record was very good from Dec 20th on when we were 2 games under .500, so we agree, it is good we got better at home as the season went on.
hellava job, this team puts the effort in the PS like they did 2nd half of season, no complaints how far they go!
thats what happens when your stuck with torts bums and you try to play skilled hockey. This guy is the best coach in hockey. Wait til the rangers really start filling in the holes to sure up some weak spots.
Hard to not be happy with AV. Took over a team of shot blockers and has started changing over to a skilled team that can actually get down a goal or 2 and have the ability to come back. Still more holes to fill and I hope while doing that we can add some more size and toughness as we go.
