I think it's cute that you still think there are teens posting here.

They drained it over this issue a couple of years ago. Every day, birds drop crap into the reservoir, small animals like raccoons and mice bathe and crap in it, and hundreds of insects fall into it and die.

Anyone with a backyard swimming pool can teach the sissy Reservoir Board of Governors how to apply chemicals.

That was kind of my thought too. What do they do about the ducks?

Oh yeah, I forgot about the ducks. Also, I said animals bathe and crap, but I should have added, they die in the water. Rotting for weeks gives bacteria a feast. We think of bacteria only on the surface, but most is underwater where you don't detect it, chomping away at dead life and plants.

Plants...I haven't mentioned leaves and twigs flying into the water. They feed as many germs as animals do. Plants just seem less disgusting.

I think it's cute to assume that anyone here would piss in the reservoir rather than jerk off into it.

All this pales in comparison to the massive amounts of toxic chemicals knocked down from the air by Portland's daily deluge of rain, and the constant lead poisoning from Portland's decaying water pipes.

My nephew used to work as an electrician for the water dept. for city of Portland. He often took his lunch at a table near a water storage reservoir (I don't know which one he was talking about). He said it was common to see people clean up after their dog, then walk over and throw it over the fence into the reservoir.

He would jump their ass when he saw it, but he wasn't around to stop any significant amount of it.
