Growing up my parents were INSANE Christians. Thank god they are cured from that sh*t. I went to Christian school and the whole 9 yards. Growing up Christian pretty well turned me away from that cult. As I got older I became interested in religion and philosophy and through some meager self study I realized that all the religions basically teach the same thing, be good to each other. The details of the various religions mess that mission up. I would not call myself religious but I am spiritual in many ways. The philosophy I most identify with is Buddhism.
I hate to admit it but my family is the ones who shapped my views. one side is your steriotypical Christian Moral Majority Conservitives, the other is the irresponsible Libral assclowns. thats why I concider myself a moderate, I've seen how bad each side is.
Well, one day, I began questioning religious figures and their special messages. Then I realized, "Why did everything special happen back then? Where is God now?" In a matter of hours, I became Atheist.
I was raised a christian, but I started questioning my self about other religions. I read and studied various religions, from Islam, Buhddism, Judism, and even the theory that we are just organsims that have evolved over billions of years. I decided that im still a follower of Jesus, but im defiently not a typical christian. Have have very different views and ideas about life.
I grew up as a southern baptist boy, my mom forced me to go to church every sunday. The older I get though, the more I ask questions about the bible. For example, Noah took two of each animal onto the arc. Well how did he keep the lions from eating the other animals? What did he feed the meat eaters, because if he fed them meat, it would probably come from the other animals, but then there would not be two of each animal. So I'm trying to figure out how the arc thing worked out. It's really causing problems.
Where did Noah get the polar bear? Or the duck billed platypus? Noah is a great legend, but anyone who really believes that happened is a nut.
The story of Noahs ark is a rip off from the Mesopotamian story of Gilgamesh, just the Israelites made it much much bigger.
And people think Noah got a message from God and a week later it started raining. It was proabbyl really many years in advance that god spoke to him.
Would it have been all salt water that flooded the earth? Because if it was all salt water, then what did he keep the fresh water animals in? I'm assuming they didn't have aquariums or anything on those boats. That whole story is really bugging me right now. Is it that flood that killed all the dinosaurs?
lol Noah ark is a fictious story. if God flooded the entire Earth there would be evidence of it. also, how could you fit two of every animal onto a boat? even animals who live in places of the world that the Israelites didn't even know existed?

Most of these stories are dated to the mediteranian area. they also tend to coincide with when the mediterranean seas flooded into itself. therefore flooding the general area we recognize as the mediterranean sea. at the time it was the modern known world. and I would not doubt if they had animals on board or what not, but it says every animal, my guess is just animals they chose themselves.
and he didnt build a simple boat. Like I said earlier, God told him in years in advance, so the "boat", was probably HUGE!!!!
The story of Noah is likely stolen from the story of Gilgimesh, which took place in Mesopotamia. it could be from the Black sea deluge even of 5600©because. it wouldn't be from the Mediterianian, because the one event in ancient times which could cause a flood, the Akorteri erruption, didn't displace enough water in the area inwhich the Israelites lived, also there is a ton of evidence from civilizations before, during and after the event.
