Everyones bashing the hell out of this guy, should you guys have worked a little harder to get a guy behind him? Someone to develope or something or bring in to relieve him? Shavlik Randolph doesn't seem like the future at all. Webber's ball hogging is getting riduclous.

Shavlik is just an energy guy... he isn't our power forward for the future (or at least I hope not).Webber is just trash... nothing more to say. I'd much rather have kept Kenny Thomas, Corliss Williamson and Brian Skinner. The only good thing about Webber is that his contract will come off the books soon, but we won't get much cap relief considering we'll have to re-sign Iggy.

Surely he isn't that bad? his last game was sold all around 8pt 12reb 3 ass 2blk 1 stl. Only one turn over. Why is he annoying you guys so much? I know he shot poorly, but a team that has AI would know that player can have cold shooting nights better than anyone. Why all the hateing on CWebb?

Webber doesn't hustle... he doesn't share the ball... and all he does is just jumpers from the elbow. Yeah, I know he's got one good knee, but he needs to go down low and bang a little bit, and at least TRY on defense... not to mention he needs to realize that the team would be better off if he looked to set up Korver and Iguodala instead of shooting elbow jumpers at a 40% rate. If he'd hustle and at least try defensively, he wouldn't get hated on has much by us Sixers fans... but he doesn't even do that.

WOW I had no-idea. I dont get to se them play. Just the box score. Sad if he is settling for the jumper. I think he still has something left.... if he wanted to try a bit.

Now, I wouldn't mind him sitting at the elbow all game long if he could actually shoot a good percentage (you'd think he'd develop that shot considering he's been doing this for the past few years) or at least look to set up Iguodala or Korver from the high-post like he used to do for Peja and Christie out in Sacramento.

I honestly don't know how he hasn't developed it into a consistent jump shot. He's a classic example of someone who looks fantastic in the stat line but when you watch him you're at the edge of your seat ready to strangle him.

Your last comment is 100% right... that's why people who don't watch the Sixers don't realize that Webber is the root of the majority of the Sixers' problems... they just look at the box score instead of actually watching the game.
