Sam Mitchell is another coach that wont sugar coat anything. It's good that Nelson is brutally honest like this. Hopefully he can end their playoff drought in the near future.

he's actually playing young guys. he doesn't care about reputation, he'll play guys that will help him win. I wish doc was more like this.

I heard one guy say "well, there's no reason to throw monty under the bus like that. Nelson even took a shot at him, saying he's a 'college guy'". Well, he's certainly not an NBA guy, so what should we call him? A YWCA guy?
Yeah I love any coach that has that much honesty and doesn't try and amke things sound better than they are. I must sy I had doubts about him makign as much of an effect for the Warriors as a lot of people expected, but he has proved me wrong. The Warriors have been playing great with their new up-tempo style of play that nellie brought back to the Warriors and they have really turned their fortunes around so far.
