This game also proved why Richards must be bought out. He is either on top of his game or he completely stinks and ineffective.

I actually thought Richards was fine. Nash 14 playoff games as a Ranger...ONE goal. Not much needs to be said about that.

Now Philly has some pressure off whereas if they go home 0-2 they press the issue and that wouldve played into the Rangers hands. Sure, tip the cap they fought back but these games can really mentally change both teams. It wouldve almost been better getting blownout, easier to blow off

I agree sc, but it is what it is. We had a 2-0 lead, wilted for 15 or so minutes, the Flyers showed a lot of heart and came back...we move on. All we can do.

Won't be easy to win in Philly, but we need to win one of the next two games. We have been a great road team, so get it done.

And BTW...McDonagh and Girardi need to up their games a little IMO.

Anyway, it would be nice to have CK back for this series.

I think theyll be ok and win a game there but like Jams said it was a golden opportunity to take command. Its the Rangers DNA i certainly get that. :)

I agree, chuck... especially Mcd must be better if they want to advance.

It would also be nice for the Flyers to have their # 1 goalie. The BJ's not to lose Tyutin. The Bruins to have their missing dmen. The Blues to not lose Backes. NO EXCUSES.

I know it seems trivial but i would make the Carcillo/Diaz change next game. Carcillo was playing well, why take him out just because Dorsetts back?

Rangers DNA = no killer instincts. It's been this way
    forever.

It sounds like Mason will be ready to play Tuesday...Really curious if he plays over Emery after the last 50 min of this game

Exactly, the guy is supposed to be one of the biggest stars in the league. Complete BS.

    Mason starts if ready IMO.

7.8 mill cap hit = 1 playoff goal in 14 games. Some love to apologize for Nash in here. Some love to rip Milbury and Jones for what they said at the start of last seasons playoffs. I prefer to just be honest...the guy has not gotten it done since the start of the playoffs last season outside a 12 or so game stretch this season...that simple.

Especially without another big winger like CK, I think teams are really trying to prevent him from beating them. But yeah, he's sucked badly in the playoffs.

CK has nothing to do with Nash having 1 goal in 14 playoff games. 12 of those games came with CK. I know fans pump up their players when out, but Kreider is not god. Sure we can use him, but he isn't here. We still need to find a way up 2-0 at home against a backup goalie.

Yes Chuck, until proven otherwise we can now say he has no balls when the money is on the table. Can't wait to see what he looks like in Philly.

How many of us fans after watching this guy over the past 2 seasons and 2 playoff runs would give Nash now the same deal Sather gave him? Not one of us would do it. Not one..

Nash just falls off the map production wise just far too often.

Nash gets knocked of his feet to easily for a guy that is 6'4". He is surely not the player I thought he was. If he continues like this he must go!!!
