I will try to post picks from the game later. I Hope to get game two tickets...just a die hard fan who got lucky with some freebie tickets for game one. Looking forward to watching the replay tonight to see what the TNT crew had to say.

This is definitely a must see series for fans of the NBA.

Fuck the Rockets? I can appreciate the passion.

No, Anthony Davis owns LMA. He is the only one that shuts him down on single coverage.

Right now, passions are high, but because of Drexler, many of us actually like the franchise (just not against us).

I had great seats for a Suns/Clips game recently and I was blown away by how physical the game was. The guys are so huge and yet so athletic. They showed Larry Fitzgerald on the Jumbotron--who is one of the best athletes in the NFL--and my first thought was how physically overmatched he would be by so many of the players on the court.

Seeing the power of a Dwight Howard that close must have been something,

I'm convinced Davis will be the best PF in the NBA next year. He has everything.

C'mon. This guy is clearly not trolling. I love input from the other side. And besides, I want to see those photos!

Howard is a beast and for the life of me I can't figure out why he was not finishing stronger around the bucket...dream was sitting court side so maybe the pupil was trying to show the master has learned!?!

LMA is not that much smaller than Howard.

Separate note :So Matthews and a fan started jawing I think during the third period during a timeout...one of the Blazer coaches who looks like a night club security guard starts staring him down like they are going to come to blows...pretty funny stuff.

Which guy was it? I'm guessing Kim Hughes, because he's pretty huge.

Lopez is a good teammate and pats teammates on the head or shoulders when they do well. So he did the same to an opponent when he got Lopez to foul out. But Parsons took it as sarcasm.

I heard parsons was talking mad shit to everyone on the team including coach stotts...something about telling Batum that if it weren't for him the French would be speaking German. Got put in his place pretty hard, wonder if that will affect his confidence the rest of the series.

Parsons trying to get paid from the Blazers is more like it. Shit if I was parsons i'd be going to everyteam talking about how much I wanted to be there to up the amount I get paid. He has been the most underpaid player the last 3 years so I hope he gets a nice 10+ a year deal.

Its been since his last year in Orlando. That back injury wasn't a joke and he has lost a lot of his "explosiveness". Howard was one of my favorite players but what he used to be able to do in Orlando and what he does in Houston and in LA last year just show how much of a shell of himself he is. I'd say he is more at 85% then 100% of what he was in Orlando. The fact he is still as good as he is without the explosive athleticism, that let him do things like set a screen near the 3p line and still get back in time to block a shot at the rim or to catch the ball and bring it up through contact to lay it in or the quick double jump that made Pryz so good, it just shows how good Howard is to still be such a dominant force when he has clearly lost a few things.

WOW props to the Blazers...Had no idea they were this good. Howard came out dominating the first half and LMA matched him point for point.

Game 3 is a must win...interesting note on local sports talk there have been 3 teams in the history of the NBA to be down 2 games and come back to win the series. The Rockets were apart of all three combacks twice as the winning team and once as the team to lose. Keeping hope alive!!! Hoping LMA will cool the 'F' Off. The last PF I saw in the playoffs go on run like this was Dirk the year they won the championship.

Still trying to load pics from the game tried Flickr to no avail?

Repped for showing up. I tell people on this site that Rocket fans are generally good people, and you're proof of that.

I think it's a case of regular season carryover and coaching. We were playing well at the end of the season, and you were having injury problems. Also, McHale doesn't seem to have an answer. JVG or Adelman would be better in this situation.

As for LA, he's just on another planet. We've never seen him play this way, either. He's always had the talent, just never the drive.

Like I said before, I thought we would have to win two in Houston, but I expect the Rockets to take one of these two. Win or lose, the play in the series has been incredible. Two very evenly matched teams.

Your team reminds me so much of our team with Roy. Your coach is completely incapable of adjusting or drawing anything up better than a Harden iso. You guys have a lot of talent, but you need a better coach. It's really weird to be on the other side of that.

I will say this, I think Jones is going to only get better. That dude is extremely talented. He's not good enough to defend LA right now, but I think eventually he could be a solid defender.

Harden should start shaving his beard. Dothraki must remove their braids upon defeat.
