...same lame "Boston strong" shit...how were they so "strong" and why did it become a rallying cry for BB team?

I love how they took a tragedy and made it some gimmicky rallying cry. ESPN is still riding that wave.

    Game over, they lost.

...bern, I'm glad someone feels the same way I do.

...and Papi's "This is is our fucking town"...gimme a f'n break you hypo-critic juicer...you're not from Boston, you're from the f'n DR.

...And this garbage about "taking our town back"...wtf is that? Did some barbaric horde invade Boston and take their town from them?...no, they were bombed by 2 idiot kids who were going to school in Boston's own back yard.

...don't get me wrong, what happened last year at the marathon was a horrible and despicable act but somehow it morphed into Boston having to endure something any more horrible than the school/movie theatre calamities etc., that other towns experienced. Where is the outpouring of compassion and "togetherness" for the many Bostonians that were killed by hand guns within the city limits between the time of the bombings and the apprehension of the last bomber?...but Boston is "strong".
...did the Boston hospitals offer to help with medical costs for the bombing victims?...no, and why? Because it was a windfall for them...but Boston was "strong".
...and what did the Boston citizens do that distinguished as them being "strong"?...simple, they stayed indoors while the Boston police department did everything they could do to completely botch the search for the bombers...but yeah, they were "strong".

...but hey, let's sell a few more "Boston Strong" hats and t-shirts.

How about they start by taking back the airport? The one that launched the WTC attacks? When they can own that shame we can talk.

My fondest memories of Massachusetts vaporized when I received a set of orders sending me to Berlin. Never liked Boston much at all.

Pure propaganda, I hate the Red Sox but at least in the past you could respect players like Yaz, Dewy Evans, Senor Tiant, and the like. The only player on their current roster I respect is Bogaerts, Big Sloppi, Gomes, and Napoli are numbers 1-3 of the Bostons I dislike most. Back in 2004 the Yankees could point with pride to 4 Championships in 10 years. Now it stands at 3 in 10 for the Bostons, 1 in 10 for the Yankees. Time for the current unit to kick their a@@es on the field and turn things around.

Is Ortiz still looking to get to the bottom of how he ended up on the steroid list?

Ortiz is a pitiful shell of a roid cheating fraud.

These days, he rarely can turn on the inside fastball. His long deep fly ball outs, are indictive of a washed up POS Bosozx crap team...

he should be ashamed to even take an at bat, in the home of Ted Williams, Carl Yaz, D. DiMaggio, Dewey, Fisk, and a host of other Hall of Famers.

I hope to see Fat Papi hanging from the green monster one day, (he's not worthy of hanging from the flag pole). Will these asswipes ever realize these roid cheats, are not a part of MLB history anymore. Other than they cheated, and will never see those Hallowed Halls....not even in the dumpster of Cooperstown. Not fit to be in the trash even. F' em...!!!

...speaking again of being "lame"...anyone see Gomes' "diving catch"...rspn has been wearing it out...the "dive" was not necessary...what a f'n hot dog.
...I'll never forget that sucker punch he threw from behind against the Yanx during ST a few years ago.

Sadly with 434 HRs going into this season, don't be surprised if this moron gets some major HOF consideration when he retires.. Especially if he reaches 500 HRs. And if that happens I'd like to hear the explanations of all the HOFers who drew a line in the sand against all the other cheats.

Gomes sucker punch, against Shelly Duncan in '08, lost all respect (if I had any) for him after that time. That guy appears to me as being a few French fries short of a happy meal. I'd like to see Tanaka dust Big Sloppi, Napoli, or Gomes this evening.

...he may get some votes but IMO, between his link to PEDS and the fact that Edgar Martinez can't get in, I don't see Papi getting in.
