Howard got a lot of calls that went against us in this game, he clearly charged several times and got to the line. If they're going to scrutinize games, they need to do it across the board, still a win is a win and this was some Scott Foster Karma!

Javy has a cushy job with ESPN now where they call on him to see if he agrees with the calls during the game. Funny thing is how vague he was the couple of times I saw him try to explain the call. Van Gundy was talking about not understanding the clear path rule, and they throw it to Javy just to say how confusing the new clear path rule is (and he is supposed to be the expert). What worked with the former ref in the NFL is not working so well with Javy.

Also, we just had Foster in game 1, so I doubt he will be around for game 2.

I can't remember any games where J.Crawford screwed up a Blazer game but I do remember Mauer a few years back giving Dallas the win against the Blazers with a ton on non-calls in the Mavericks favor.

    Dear NBA,

Since you seem justifiably concerned that the games are officiated accurately, can you also please review every one of Dwight Howard's "blocked" shots and award the Blazers 6 points for the three that were obviously goal tending. Also, please review the play where Dwight Howard traveled BEFORE Robin Lopez "fouled" him and was disqualified for receiving his 6th personal foul.

    Sincerely,
    A Concerned Fan

    P.S. Go fuck yourselves.

The officiating in the playoffs has been absolutely horrendous. I've watched 4 games thus far, and I thought the officiating in three of the games was pretty brutal.

    Email the league office: http://www.nba.com/email_us/contact_us.html

I just sent them one pointing out the absurdity of an 'official statement' about ONE bad call on Dwight Howard and asked them to acknowledge the several horrific calls that went against the Blazers. I also pointed out that it will effect the fairness of refereeing in future games in this series.

I did not point out that his last name should be Silverstern and that I thought he'd do anything for a large Chinese audience.

Yeah, I know. Come on, Sly - I don't think that could have been more apparent in your post.

I was just commenting about how horrendous the officiating has been in all of the games, not just the Blazers' game.

It wouldn't be if the NBA didn't have a dawg on the fight.

In the end you have to have a lil luck to advance and Portland received some lard night. Be interesting to see where the series goes from here.

    The officiating is a concern

You all can point to all the "missed calls" you want--the NBA made a point to point out the only clear "game-changing" play. I mean come on--face-guarding on a box out? Egregious.

The only "game changing" play? lol

You don't think Lopez fouling out was game changing?

Blazers up two when he fouled out.

Blazers up two when the game ended.

    Doesn't look like it.

Yeah, my thoughts as well. They should've retracted his 6th foul but given him a retroactive technical for punching Robin in the gut. Big fine. Also fine Harden for flopping and kicking his leg out.

They could also apologize for not calling a foul on Matthews when he shoved Harden out to the 3 point line before his final shot in regulation. If they would have made the obvious call there, there would have been no overtime.

What about the foul that gave Harden free throws when he kicked his leg out to side of his body beyond his shoulders? That is an illegal move and a point of emphasis by the NBA but they incorrectly called a foul on Wes.

Tons of missed calls both ways last night. One of the worst officiated games I've ever seen. If either teams fans thinks the calls were only for one side they are very biased.
