To be realistic. ..we lost one game and line up changes must happen? Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
While i agree that after only 1 loss there's no need to go and change the lines, i also agree with your previous post right before this one that Carcillo has played on the 1st line before and actually worked, so i wouldn't be opposed to it again. If there is 1 opponent we could benefit from having 2 tough guys in the lineup (Carcillo / Dorsett) it's Philly.
Ill agree to that for the fact we need more aggitating and agression in this series...I would think about sitting d moore and let Boyle center Dorsett and carcillo Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
That'd be a nice, tough 4th line, but if AV wants to play Carcillo alongside Stepan and Nash, i'd have no problem with that either. Maybe having an agitator on his line will wake Nash up too. He needs to be our best forward in the playoffs so it's important to get him going.
True but to me it makes no sense to have somebody like Fast out there and Dorsett is just completely useless.
good idea Carcillo - Stepan - Nash. Then they can move St. Louis with Richards, or Nash with Richards..... Nash has got to wake up. If you look at top guys on the Avs, Ducks, Habs, etc their top guys are getting it done
Avs and Ducks both got shut out last night. If we got shut out in the playoffs, even if we were up 2 in the series, all hell would break loose on this board. Nash has 13 shots in 2 games this series. He will break through soon in a big way I bet. Compare that with Giroux's ZERO. As for this thread, Carcillo is not going to be the reason this teams wins or loses. Replace Fast with Miller if we want to make a change that might actually make a difference.
BTW Prod, while i agree Carcillo is not going to be the reason this team wins or loses this series, he can be a considerable contributor to the team winning with his agitating style of game against a tough team. If we were playing, say, the Wings, i would see no need for Carcillo, but against the dirty Flyers i see value in having him in the lineup.
31 that might be true if the 4th line had been composed of, say, Boyle-Moore-Fast. Dorsett is playing just fine in my opinion. If we want to switch those 2 then I dont see the problem. But putting either Dorsett or Carcillo in a top 9 role, which is what will happen, is not the answer.
they got shut out but the bottom line is their top line guys are producing, ours arent. Yes, Nash has 2 assists, Richie and ST. Louis played well but down 3-2 at home with half of the game left someone has to step up and tie the game CARP on his blog always says he thinks the series will be 1-1 after 2, 2-2 after 4, 3-3 after 6 but common enough is enough, this team has to have a killer instinct and not always goes the distance in every series
If Carcillo is in the only guy who could be consideredt o bench is Dorsett. The Rangers don't want to play the physical, hard-hitting game the Flyers play. They don't have enough guys to match that. Let the Flyers play physically and take more stupid penalties. I like the Rangers chances more with Fast in the line-up instead of Dorsett if Carcillo MUST play.
Eating my words after that goal but he has def taken some bad penalties. May have saved a goal on his last one though! Good work Danny.
