...Anaheuser/Busch were Bavarian/German immigrants. ...and the tap water that comes out of most people's faucet is recycle piss water.
Stout is definitely my favorite (BY FAR) but a good dark lager is also nice! FWIW, stouts typically have lower carb counts too for those that care... And I would rather piss on a fire than use that piss on a fire too...
You seem to have this fascination with the word......P I S S, Perhaps you should lie on the couch & talk to me.
No doubt, LMAO....This desert water might as well be pure piss. A water reclamation plant is but 4 miles east, and 3 miles north of my home. When driving north on the Freeway, one has to drive right beside that huge stinking disgusting plant. Its odor is that of raw shit, and the plant sends the recycled poison water from the plant out to Barley Farmers nearby. The largest grower of Barley in this desert Valley is Budweiser, go figure, I used to drink Bud routinely as a young man, tho' I preferred Michelob, it was cheap, and decent. Now, I won't touch a bud, due to the piss water poison which feeds that barley. Just my two cents, personally it doesn't matter to me, who drinks what, as long as my beer is stout, and its hops, barley or wheat is not irrigated with waste water. Boy, does that place have an odor about it, enough to kill a human.
you a shrink now? It all started a long time ago... I was in a dark warm pool and all the sudden there was an intense pain and a bright light..........
Maybe it was the DARK water that frightened you & it was natures way of saying you should be closer to CLEAR water, like..........PISS. So my suggestion to you as your doctor is relax, take it easy and.................HAVE A FUCKING BUDWEISER. That'll be $200.00 please.
I admire your tenactiy Steve....give me stout or give me death...!!! Rick, can you book me time on that couch of yours? I got some Anger Issues I need to deal with. Just say Big Papi, and watch me blow my lid off......hmmm, what does the good doctor recomend, nope, don't tell me have a Bud and i will be Wiser...LMAO...all in good taste my friend.
Shrek it is, never again shall I say anything other.....name fits well, better than Joba the Hutt. Anti-Shrek Clubbers: Nothing a good dark stout or pint of Guiness can't cure.
FYI, the only beer that looks like piss that I'll drink on occasion is a Corona with lime wedge... that's it
The one thing Budweiser is good for no kidding, is to steam hot dogs with. No shit, I once got into Dodger Stadium early. The hot dog vendors weren't open yet, since it was early. I asked the elderly lady who was cooking those foot long Dodger (Farmer John) dogs, what do you all do to cook the dogs, that gives it a different sweet, yet different flavor, and makes each dog snap, when you bite into them. (Reminiscent of red hot dogs, my wife used to get from Maine, in links). the lady said you really want to know, (a trade secret she gave away when no one was around), yes-I replied, and she commenced to pour a Pitcher of Bud in the steam rack/table. The key is to steam them slow, in a almost 50-50 mix of water with Bud. Slow or they will explode. I could not duplicate the flavor prior, without Bud. Armed with new insight, I've been cooking hot dogs this way, in Budweiser for almost 30 years. It works. The secret to a Dodger Foot Long Hot Dog, which will cost you $5-6 bucks for one dog now, in Chavez Ravine. An 8 pack of Dogs/Buns, and a 6 pack of Bud, costs $9.50. For what its worth.
...when I was growing up, there was this restaurant called Lum's who specialized in hot dogs boiled/steamed in beer as well as conventional "virgin" dogs. And I swore that whenever I reached drinking age (18 back then) I was going to get me one of those dogs and have my first beer there. You could even have your choice of 3-4 different beer induced dogs. (Bud, Heineken, etc.) When you walked in, the whole place reeked of beer. ...at that time the hot dogs were like nothing I had ever seen before. They were 1/4 pound kosher dogs (yup, 1/4 pound) ...this place also offered a large line up of beers, domestic and imported and on the very day I turned 18, I kept my promise to myself...sat at the bar, and had my first "legal" beer and a 1/4 pounder steamed in beer...one of those dogs would fill you up.
...yup, the war in Nam had something to with law makers dropping the age require...I guess they figured if you were old enough to be drafted you were old enough to drink.
It's a warm fuzzy to know a true connosieur of beer steamed franks, and brew, resides here. You know first hand, a good time, with brew and your foods. Yes, Tom, back in the 60s-70s, early 80s, an 18 year old could buy beer in most states, other than the West Coast. On vacations to the Plains states, one could buy 3.2 Beer, (but not on Sundays in some states). Or go into a Pool Hall out in the wheat field small towns, and get Beer at 16. In Georgia, Florida, most southern states, one could even buy Hard Liquor at 18, and get any Beer's beyond 3.2 alcohol. At 18, we were legal to go into bars, night clubs, liquor stores, you name it, order any mixed drink, or buy full stout imported beer as well. At one time, in some southern states, an open container, did not include a Daiquri, any other mixed drink, if the cup/glass had a lid on top, with a piece of masking tape on the straw. If one drank a beer while driving, and were pulled over by the law, a screw on beer lid, if placed back on the bottle, WAS a closed container, even if the beer was half full, less or more, didn't matter. You can only imagine, drunk fests, on downtown Atlanta, Jacksonville, Ft. Lauderdale, New Orleans, and most other city streets, in the wee hours of morn, when the only persons on the streets were laying near a bus bench, puking their guts out in the sidewalk gutters. A motley crew, way back when, in the day.....when it was legal to get drunk at yeppers-18.
