I think it has to be the Utah Jazz. Andrei Kirilenko, Carlos Boozer, and Mehmet Okur.Last season stats:Mehmet Okur- 18 ppg, 9 rpg.Carlos Boozer- 16.3 ppg, 8.6 rpg.Andrei Kirilenko- 15.3 ppg, 8.0 rpg, 4.3 apg, 3.19 bpg.I'm surprised to see everybody overlook them.
I've been raving about them, there are not that many great frontcourts anymore and they have everyone else beat by a nice margin.
If they can all stay healthy(well Boozer and AK47 atleast) they should have no excuses if they miss the playoffs again.
OrlandoDwight Howard - future superstar, unbelievable rebounder, nice post moves, lots of athletism, good defenderDarko - Good post moves, good shooter, outstanding shot blockerTurkolo (sp) - good shooter, nice all around gamecheck out the pacers:Jermaine O'nealAl HarringtonDanny Grangersmall, but very athletic

The only guy even "good" in that Orlando frontcourt is Dwight Howard...Cavs:LebronDrew GoodenIlgauskus

The duo of Dwight Howard and Darko was getting so much hype in the offseason. You have to be kiding? Like Tony already pointed out you always mentiion the Pacers in every thread like this. You have to be one of the most biased fans I have seen here. Jermaine O'Neal is great but he's really injury proned and Danny Granger hasn't even actually proved himself in this league yet.I love Utahs backcourt, but I think there's a reason we never hear about it. Carlos Boozer and AK47are both injury proned, and we'll never know how long they can stay healthy, especially for Boozer. If they can stay healthy though I will expect no less than a 50 win season from them.

Extremely deep. But I definitely have to agree with Utah. All 3 of them are All-Star caliber players (if Boozer was in the East, and healthy, he would probably be an All-Star - or very close to it), and they all are very valuable. AK47 is Mr. DoItAll, and I mean literally everything. Boozer is a nightly double-double, and Okur is a very good offensive player. Even off the bench they have Matt Harpring at the 3 and Paul Millsap at the 4, who is an extremely good rebounder.Man, I love this Utah Jazz team.
K-Mart and the word 'best' should never come in the same sentence. He took 2 three pointers the other night :thumbdn1:
This one I am about to list isn amazing, but it is somewhat deep.PortlandC- Joel Pryzabilla and Jamall Magloire- Joel is a great defensive player with great shot blocking ability. Magloire was an All-Star just two seasons ago so I am going to fail to believe that his career is on the downfall. Also, Raef LaFrentz adds more depth. Even though he is streaky, he can spread the defenses out with his range.PF: Zach Randolph and LaMarcus Aldridge- Randolph is one of the most underrated players in the game in my opinion. He is a good scorer and a pretty good rebounder as well. He lacks defensive talent but his offensive game is very sound. LaMarcus is young and has alot of talent. He went very high in the draft and will be a complete stud in a couple of years.SF: Darius Miles: When healthy and his attitude isnt a problem, he is a solid 16 points per night player. Also, I dont think he is done growing as a player. He is still young and could get better if his attitude can turn around. This frontcourt might not be among the elite in the game, but it isnt too shabby and it is pretty deep.
Portlands got a nice lineup, they have Maglore off the bench too. but Im going with my Jazz. the Jazz big three are quicker and stronger than Portlands, if they're healthy.
Here's one that I havent heard in either one of these frontcourt threads. The San Antonio Spurs.C-Fransico Elson-Very underated, hasnt had a ton of playing timeF-Tim Duncan-Top 3 PF in the leagueF-Bruce Bowen-Top 3 perimeter defender in the leagueIn my opinion, he have to be underated at least here. Havent heard them mentioned. Duncan anchors the team both on the defensive end and offensive end. Bowen is a great defender and Elson plays within his role. He's better than Nazr and Rasho and more athletic.

Kirilenko has started a little slowly this year though. Okur is soft too. The magic with hill, darko, and howard is really solid.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (nba dogmatist @ Nov 4 2006, 12:32 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>denver can be added: carmelo, kmart, camby.</div> they arent underrated though
Wizards? We're not that bad.SF - Caron ButlerPF - Antawn JamisonC - Etan ThomasThomas is doing pretty well this year so far starting at C. Jamison has done pretty damn good, as well as Butler. We may not be underrated, but its a solid frontcourt.
