Who will be there?

I just got a ticket for game 3.

I'm flying up from the Bay Area just for this game.

IT BETTER BE LOUD IN THE ROSE GARDEN!

:MARIS61: :MARIS61:

I still have my season tickets, and bought playoff tickets. I have broached the subject with my wife of flying to PDX with our son for Games 3 and 4. Right now, she's not thrilled with the prospect. To be fair, neither are my friends I tentatively promised my tickets to.

Do it maxie, do it.

I don't want to be the only sucker who spent way too much money for this experience. :cheers:

I'll be there. Might have to buy some of those standing room tickets for game 4 also, just to get inside. Would likely be standing a lot anyways.

Wait they actually sell standing room only tickets for basketball?

smh... they have trouble filling even 3/4 of the seats for a playoff game here in Indy.

Frankly, I think they should take every single seat out of the RG, so you didn't have a choice but to stand. Oh, and you could increase the capacity to 30K that way. It would be awesome!

I'm so broke, I can't even pay attention.

TV for me.

Sigh...

Game 3 roles:
Will=potential energy
DW1=floor spreader
TRob=T-Devil
Limey=aerial defense
Mo=bench gunner
Wes=3&D
Nic=JoAT(aMoN)
RoLo=Obstacle
LA=Decoy
Dame=Stone-cold killa

Oh, you meant roll-call... :smiley-pat:

I'll be there with either a red Afro wig, or a black rip city SnapBack(idk which yet, I wore the SnapBack for games 1&2, not sure I want to change it up!) and a white home thomas robinson jersey. Say what's up if you see me.

Gonna be chanting "our house ... Our house ..." Prior to tip and "we are ... Rip city ..." At the beginning of the 4th! Join in!

S___. Don't even have cable. Will be watching it from my bro's place.

I'm probably going to watch it solo. I can't have people around (non Blazer fans) when this important shit is going down. Being able to concentrate on the game is of the utmost importance! Plus the weird rituals and shit!

I have to get some good munchies, but I don't know what. decisions!

I don't mind watching at home. I would like to go to at least one game though. I just don't think I can afford it. Shit is expensive yo!

No kidding. I've never been to a playoff game...if we meet the clippers I don't know if I will go to staples. I want that Portland homecourt experience. If we ever do win it all I'd like to think I'll be there in the moda center or at the very least dr. Jacks or a bar and spill off into the streets to celebrate all night

Dude, a playoff game is not like anything you've ever experienced. I've been to WCF games that were so loud you literally couldn't hear yourself speak. It's unreal. It also never cost this much.

Looks like I'm out. I'll be watching from Denver tonight.

You will be happy to know that with my playoff tickets, I only offer them to the loudest, most hard-core Blazer fans I know. The two that will be attending tonight can sound like five or six people. They're obnoxious and unrelenting.

No you had it right the first time. I've got an important role in tonight's game. :MARIS61:

Same here. My wife and kids come into the room and distract me during the game, and I am not pleased. I don't even want my dog around. ;)

Whenever I buy a house, I'm going to have a soundproof room with a television and padded walls just for watching Blazers game. No chair, no couch, I usually stand and pace while watching.

I'll never forget game 1 against Houston in 2009 in the midst of the "Rise With Us" years

20-30min before tip-off and the Rose Garden was already packed. Players weren't even on the court yet.

Video came up on the big video board of the Blazers in the back getting ready to come out, and instantaneously 20,000 BlazerManiacs started chanting the "Let's Go Blazers!" chant. Unlike anything I've ever seen.

Then the Rockets destroyed the Blazers and it was all over.

On another note, $100 for 300 level tickets is insulting. Based on principle alone I won't do it.

My greatest playoff moment ever (besides not being allowed by my dad to rush the court June 5, 1977) was the 1990 Game 7 Duckworth return. He may not have shed a tear, but when the realization spread across the arena that Duck was coming out of the tunnel, I know I cried.
