I feel awful. I have pain in my chest. I try to calm myself down and look at the positives but it doesn't work. I just want to tomorrow to come now so we can bounce back and go up 3-1. I hate living and dying by this game. I was on such a high after game 1 as I know many of you were. Now I'm in pain. Anyone else feel this way?

I was bummed after the game last night, but it's just a basketball game, and none of us have any control over the outcome.

    On to Game 4!!

I never believed for an instant that we would sweep the series.

It sucked for about 2-3 minutes. Then I realized that they just gave us their best shot and we still took them to OT and had a chance to win. A lucky bounce of the basketball and they won. No biggie. Game 4 is ours.

I'm fine with the loss. It's painful losses is what make good teams, great ones. If we were to sweep the Rockets we would be painfully unprepared for the 2nd round.

Think back to those incredible Jordan era teams, they didn't just arrive to the playoffs a great team. It was those knock down drag out fights against the Detroit Pistons that taught MJ and Pippen what it took to win in the playoffs. Two years in a row losing to the Bad Boys and "The Jordan Rules".

Do you want to see this team achieve greatness this year? Next year? The year after? We're going to have to get our nose bloodied a few times.

What I love, absolutely love about this current team is that they never give up. There were times in the 1st and 3rd games where the Blazers could have given up and say, "it's not our night." But they didn't, they keep fighting and fighting.

There's absolutely nothing to feel ill about. This team has the strength of character, the heart of a warrior and we're watching them discover just how good they can be.

no not at all, it was simply another of 3 great games, we lost this one but with perspective I am very pleased we are up 2-1 in this series given how up for grabs all 3 games were. The battle and effort these guys are showing so far, win or lose, is truly impressive and a joy to watch

I have diarrhea but I think it has something to do with the Mango Habanero wings I ate at Buffalo Wild Wings before the game.

We took the mavs to 6 when the won the championship. I fully expect the rockets to do the same to us before ours. We are still looking really good brother. Its not like we were blown out. We lost matthews to fould troubles and were forced to adjust late. We were reminded we are not untouchable until we raise the trophy. We will come more determined for game 4. Mo and trob are due for heroism.

I'm with KingSpeed. I was up way past my usual bedtime and got up before 4 this morning unable to sleep (hey, my house is real clean). I went through all the stages of grief, first shock, then this morning I actually opened the sports pages to see if maybe this was a nightmare, that the Blazers got of a list millisecond shot and won? No.

(Speaking of nightmares, I accidentally hit the off button on my TV, quickly turned it back on, but missed the sequence where Lin blew the layup and Nic tied the game)

You see, what I fear, I live in Oakland and remember all the playoff series when the A's were up 2-0, including on the road ... and lost. I know there is no connection but I feel sick. I would not feel that bad if they won Game 3 and Houston Game 4.

And finally, to add to the misery, in an OT loss I think of all the little things, ONE less missed free throw in regulation the Blazers win. The offensive foul call on Dame which was clearly a block on the defender. Oh torture. This is what I do for fun?

I was just incredibly disappointed. It was a great opportunity to make life easier on ourselves. One half of intense basketball and Houston folds. Now, we have a series.

We came out flat and were down 9-0. It's great we came back, but before the game I posted my fear is that we don't have a killer instinct. Last night, we showed we do not have it at all.

What?!? No killer instinct? LOL! We've gone punch for punch with the Rockets 3 straight games. If this team didn't have a killer instinct we wouldn't have gone to OT twice and we'd be sitting at 0-3.
