Thats perfect. You see where the State has been advised to scrap cover Oregon and proceed to use the federal system?

Back in December, I applied for insurance through the Cover Oregon site. It was great,
I got a great policy for my wife and myself all payed for by Oregon. Of course I know that they should not sell me insurance since we are covered by Medicare Weird how they let that slide.

But no worry, never heard from them again, except to say the site was working, come and see how we can help you!

Geez, this level of incompetence is appalling.

The private contractor hired to implement the site really screwed over the government.

Hundreds of millions squandered on Cover Oregon and the CRC and zero accountability.

Yet another example of the pointlessness of politics. Cover Oregon points finger at Oracle. Oracle points finger at Cover Oregon. So as someone who's had nothing to do with the project, who am I supposed to believe?

Oracle has successfully implemented thousands of software systems over the years. Oregon? Not so much. I know who I believe.

See to me that's like saying "McDonalds has successfully sold thousands of hamburgers". Okay, so what of the "unsuccessful" sales? How many customers were not satisfied with the burger for whatever reason? How many had the wrong toppings, were improperly cooked, etc, and how many customers demanded a refund as a result? Just because a company has got it right before doesn't mean they always do.

Maybe you're exactly right and the Government is the one to blame, but the argument of "they've done it X number of times before" doesn't mean much to me.
