Re: What is the best play you've ever made? Probably not my best play ever, but it's the most recent one I can think of. It was a pickup game. Score was tied. Next basket wins it. Was playing defense, stole the ball. Went on a two-on-one break away, then did the perfect behind the back pass to the other guy and he layed it in for the win.

I don't know which are my best... but here are some good ol' basketball memories.-We were on offense and I passed it to my guy at the perimeter for an open J. He missed. I rebound. I pass back to him. He misses. I rebound. This happened like 3 or 4 times until I finally just took it in myself. Oh and I was rebounding over a guy at least 4 inches taller then me.-My breakaway through the leg layup in a tournament last year -I blocked a potential game-winner from the other team with my arm. NOT IN MAH HOUSE SUCKAGood times...
Re: What is the best play you've ever made? - When I dunked the ball for the first time...- I got the ball thrown to me with my back towards the basket and I did a tip pass behind my head to my teammate for a layup.- Blocked a shot to the top level of the stands.- Hit a 3 pointer while being tripped in mid air.- Blocked somebody's dunk attempt.
Re: What is the best play you've ever made? This is tough for me, because my game is playing tough and I don't have many flashy plays to talk about. I thinkof myself as a good 1 on 1 defender and a hustle player who grabs alot of O boards. I can hit a nice trey though. There's a park by my house where I play at. There's always a ton of people there, and we play 4 on 4s. It's predominately black dudes at the court and I'm a white dude, they always pick me last. The best play for me is when I get grabbed last in a game, light dudes up or hit the game winning shot, then get grabbed much higher the next game.

I couldn't hit any shots, so for the next attempt, I ran and dunked the ball. I dunked on my six-foot-some-odd-inches tall friend and he fell down.- I did a 360 lay-up and got fouled while playing 21. My brother actually recorded that game. I didn't win, though. There were four other guys playing, too.</span>

I dont remember all my crazy plays but one that just happened today was when my team was on a fast break, I had the ball running full speed up court, then I just flipped the ball behing my back to a kid and he hit the three, people were just like whered the ball go? and he just popped the Jumper. I have a bunch of wild layups too though, kobe type

Re: What is the best play you've ever made? I went up for a lay-up and the guy guarding me was on the heel of my shoe and it came off. They inbounded it quickly and I ran down to play defense with my shoe in my hand. They gave the guy the ball who I was guarding and I stopped his dribble penetration and because my teammates covered their guys when he picked up his dribble we got a 5 second call on the team. When we watched it during tape we were getting a good laugh out of it but my coach praised the fact that I went to play defense before putting my shoe back on.
Re: What is the best play you've ever made? I was playing 3 on 3 in a pickup game after school. I crossed over my defender, drove to the basket. Teo guys were waiting. I did a one hop step around the first guy, and then a running hook shot with contact. I then shouted "And 1 bi*ch!"

(while breaking my ankle) a jump/dive thing out of bounds saving a ball and in mid air throwing it 3/4 down court for a game tying assist (we won in OT)my first double double (back in the old boys clubs, it was a big deal at the time along w/ 20 pt games)my only dunk on 10ft rim ever (with a mini ball, but at the time I was 5' 10" and im white. since I broke my ankle I played one season but the it just wasn't the same. since my ankle is getting back to its normal finally and I recently in gym almost dunked over someone with a normal sized men ball, I got it over the rim but bounced off the back)game tieing free throws. it was one of those times where you're fouled at the buzzer so no one is along the lanes, tied up the game baby we won in OT.
Re: What is the best play you've ever made? I have three that stick out in my head: 1. I got hurt in the 2nd quarter and couldn't play the whole 3rd quarter (knee was too sore). But we were down 2, and our best scorer fouled out. Coach put me in at the 2 (weird, because I am a PG, but he didn't want me handling the ball while hurt and stuff), so we set up one of our plays in a timeout. I came off a double pick, caught the ball in the right corner, and hit the game-winning 3 with about 4 seconds left. They missed a halfcourt heave at the buzzer. Great moment. 2. I saved a ball from going out of bounds, tossed the ball behind my back (and luckily it actually got to my teammate), I ran back in and took the ball up on the right sideline. I crossed over, went to the top of the key at full speed, then bulleted a 1 handed no-look pass to our center for an easy layup. I got cocky and didn't even watch him score. I passed and ran back haha. But he made it. 3. I intercepted a pass and I was all alone on a 1 on 2 break. I pulled a layup out of my ass. I was on the right side, I cradled it, extended my left hand to the other side, and got the perfect spin off the glass. Then I got fouled on the way down. 3 point play, but it was sick.

Re: What is the best play you've ever made? stuffed a kid on the perimeter for a potential game winning three. The shot came back and hit him in the face as the buzzer was sounding and the crowd was going nuts. :flex:

Re: What is the best play you've ever made? When I was in 8th grade. I was the like star of the team. we were down by one and they were playing incredible defense. I made a hard cut to the corner. Nailed a 30 footer to win it.
