And don't be so sure that Boston is that much better than us at this point. Are they better, yes. But just imagine how good we could be if Nash decides to play like our best forward. And by then it's possible to have Kreids back. But that's a long way off.
Pasta and I played sports on a highly competitive level. He played higher than I did. But he understands exactly what Im saying because of his playing days.
this is true, what chuck is getting confused is the difference between reg season play and PS play. its nite & day.. and i think he is gettin ahead of himself thinking Pitt will be an easy win... they have won, there players have been there, he's relying on fluery being shaky, that mite be true, but if he isn't, Pitt will be very tough to beat
The Flyers still have to be beaten and it would be best to do it in game six because it's a quick turn around with no rest leading into a game seven. Hopefully by this time tomorrow night we're discussing an upcoming Rangers vs Pens series.
Any time you can day you have the best and in pitts case the second best player in a series its going to be a hard out. Dont underestimate the power of the flightless bird Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
Chuck understands everything. You two guys think the PS Flyers are not a good team, therefore it is amazing this series is taking 6 or 7...shame on the Rangers...LOL. I get it guys.... ANYWAY, as for the Pens, look...when you have the best player in the world, and maybe a top 3 or 4 player in the world on the same team...that is never an easy out. The Pens will not rollover and fade away. IF we get there that will not be a cake walk. Plus we never really play well against the Pens, which makes it even a little tougher. With that said, I have zero faith in MAF. I have little faith in their D. They have offensive ability from their D, but it is pretty soft and lacks a physical element, especially if Orpik isn't back. And upfront they have the Big 2 and Neal and Kunitz, and Jokinen is solid, but after that they are not as deep as they used to be. I hope they play Cindy and Malkin together against us, but I expect they won't. We would score goals in that series. They will score goals also, but I would put my money on Hank and our D slowing them down more than MAF and their D slowing us down. That's how I see it. It did scare me a little to see Malkin score 3 last night, maybe he is back to 100% and ready to roll, but then I saw the BJ's battle back and score 3 to make it a game, and I remembered their D and goalie are very shaky and felt better again. And BTW...I think the Flyers would also beat the Pens in 6 also. They own the Pens. I bet the Pens are rooting for us in 7 right now. So make no mistake about it, IF we get there Pitt will not go easily. They have two stud players, and sometimes they can win a series for you by themselves.
Funny stuff Dis. Time to move on. Let's focus on game 6...and hopefully a win to move us into round 2. That is all that matters now. The rest of it is BS non-sense both ways.
I am still focusing on this series and not thinking ahead. If they can get to the flyers early then they should be OK or in the worst case scenario, at least be tied going into the third. If they are losing by a goal or two, there will be game 7, no doubt in my mind.
from game 1 the only thing that has concerned me and still does is a flyer takin a key ranger out... flyers have been NO threat in this series... rangers have been their own worst ememy, which is usually the case, and the refs have been pitiful.... vorecek has been their best player! rangers lay back 2nite we r goin to game 7.. chuck's translation, pasta says rangers stink! lol
'almost every series is tight, really? ... other then the possiblity of our rangers going 7, which series was tight? pretty much 2 wins in every series so far 4 losers
6 of 8 series are going 6 or 7 games. And 2 or 3 of 8 series going 7. Doesn't get much tighter than that. Anyway WHO CARES. Enough with this utter non-sense. Let's just move on.
We have not won a game after taking a lead in a series 11 straight times. We have not won a playoff round in less than 7 games in 6 years. All streaks come to an end and I say it happens tonight. Lets Go Rangers!!!!
