Andrew Bogut Game 1: 16pts/9rebs 7-10 FG Game 2: 18pts/7rebs 8-12 FG Game 3: 21pts/8rebs 7-10 FG Charlie Villanueva Game 1: 16pts/12rebs 6-21 FG Game 2: 17pts/11rebs 8-15 FG Game 3: 25pts/7rebs 11-17 FG 3/4 3FG These two are definitely becoming one of the NBA's most feared duo's inside. Andrew Bogut's just been destroying defenders in the post. He'a proving all those people during the draft wrong that said he would never be an elite player. Charlie Villaneva has been amazing. His passing and rebounding have been big for us. HE can score from everywhere. This is easily the best passing PF/C duo in the NBA right now, and maybe one of the best in recent memory. How many NBA teams have a PF and C that can put up 20/10 on you? When these guys both put up 20/10 like last night it's hard for us to loose. All I have to say is, thank god for the T.J. Ford/Villanueva trade.

I wasnt sure how these 2 would pair up. I believed that Villi a Bosh would be a better combo. But this one should be better since they are two different types of big men. Bogut big rebounder and bangert down low, and Charlie a more of a scorer.

Yep. In 5 years this is going to be scary. Both will be atleast 22+ ppg scorers.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (TheAnalyst @ Nov 5 2006, 10:16 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>I wasnt sure how these 2 would pair up. They're doing really good together and the fact that they are both sophomores is just plain scary...Imagine 5 years from now :shok:

I'm impressed with these two big men. Especially in their victory over Detroit. The Bucks quietly acquired a great core for the future now, adding Micheal Redd and Mo Williams to the mix.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (CB4AllStar @ Nov 5 2006, 09:52 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Yep. It's not hard to imagine him averaging 22ppg sometime in his career considering how much he can work on his post game.

You obviously havnt seen him enough then. He is already great in the post, and he is only 22. He is athletic, strong, and he can shoot also. I think he will definately average 22 ppg in the future. Maybe even in the near future.

This duo is definitely built for the future. If everything goes well these two will dominate for years. The Bucks are going in the right direction, That TJ Ford trade is looking really good.

Only bad thing is that Charlie is freaking terrible on defense.

But it is different having a terrible post defender then a terrible perimeter defender. If youre a terrible post defender, the other team will just abbuse you downlow all night long, but if you are a bad perim. defender, the interior defenders can play help defense off the dribble, and atleast be able to alter shots.Plus, hey, our other perimeter defenders are all pretty good, besides Calderon..MoParkerFred JonesThey're all good defenders at the wing.

Re: Charlie Villianueva & Andrew Bogut

I dont think so. If you suck at defending inside, the opposing big men will go right at you in the post, and:1) score an easy basket2) draw a foul3) when the help defense comes, kick it out for an open three.Whereas IF you are beat off the dribble, the bigs are always there to help out. Bosh has improved quite a bit defensively, and Rasho is a decent defender. So it isnt that big of a deal. Like I said, our wing defenders are all good.

Andrew Bogut played like he had a vagina last night. 1-5 and 3 rebounds. When he plays against guys that are bigger than him and better defenders (Rasho, Big Ben) he just doesn't play tough enough. God it was frustraiting watching him play so passive. At least Villy had a great game. 17pts/13rebs 8-11 FG.
