Being it's also an elimination game for the Flyers, it's yet another series Emery/Mason are on the brink of losing, lol.

I love watching this board meltdown after a somewhat predictable loss.

Game 7 at home to advance and people jumping off the cliff

    Love it

The loss what was somewhat predictable. The WAY they lost it was a downright embarrassment.

Couple of bad bounces didnt help but they lost their edge tonight. The coaches will reinforce things im sure.

We all will after a potential epic fail...but let's hope we don't get to that point.

Just want to point out to the Hank bashers that almost all of Philly's goals are multiple rebound chances from a foot away because we never clear the crease, on turnovers that lead to odd man rushes or breakaways, or tip ins. Not saying he's been great, but he's not the reason we lost. I'd love to see Mason have to make multiple saves, slide side to side, and face 3 shots in 3 seconds where our forwards can just stand there and whack away. It rarely happens, and the few times it does our forwards get hammered or the Philly dmen don't even let the shots get through. I suspect if Mason was our goalie instead of Hank, he would have given up 6 or 7.

only issue I have with Hank is that he seems to get beaten on more breakaways lately....that one goal at the end of a PP should never of happened

I had mentioned the smaller pads awhile back when Hank wasn't doing great. I don't know how much that's affecting him now or on breakaways. I agree he's not stopping nearly as many as he used to.

People have figured out how to beat Hank on breakaways - shoot hard and high from close in. Hank is great at sticking with dekes and moves, but he's quite beatable with a quick well placed wrist shot. You see this in shoot outs too. He was pretty bad this year because players are just shooting rather than trying to fake him out.

just for the record, im not a hank basher, i love hank, one of my favorite goalies of all time next to richter, but my criticism is fair. he needs to evolve his game just as people are adapting to him. He stays to deep into his crease too much, he doesn't stick check and he doesn't have any puck skills behind the net. he needs to adjust. I dont think its the pads being smaller, i think its more about people adjusting to him and we no longer have a torts sytem where its D D D D D D D D.

hes not the reason why we are losing but he is also not the reason we are winning, if we are going to win game 7, hank needs to be better then mason.

Yup, pretty much it. The defensemen have to grow a pair against Simmonds or he'll just do the same thing tonight.
