mine is probably Zaza Pachulia. 18/9 so far. Kevin Martin is another, he's really lighting it up.I know it's early, but give some candidates here.

We're not even a week into the NBA season, and we're talking about MIP's? withe. I'll list some more just for the sake of conversation.Drew Gooden-20 ppg, 15 rpgLamar Odom-28 ppg, 9 rpg, 7 apgQ Rich-21 ppg, 8 rpg, 2 apg (May be out for a while though)Earl Boykins-21 ppg, 7 apg, 3 rpgEddy Curry-20 ppg, 7 rpgCharlie V-19 ppg, 10 rpg, 1.7 spgLeandro Barbosa-19 ppg, 4 apgChucky Atkins-18 ppg, 2 apgLuke Walton-15 ppg, 5 rpg, 3 apgNazr Mohammed-11 ppg, 9 rpg, 2 bpg1 month from now that list will be alot smaller.
People who are hyped up like a lot of the young player you guys have named here really cant be named in the Most Improved Player talks. Its for people who have been around a few years and never really thought to have star potential (ie. Boris Diaw). For this season I would say someone like Leandro Barbosa or TJ Ford. Lamar Odom might be another good one, but I personally expected him to be a star (biased cause im from rhode island and watching him carry URI on his back for one season the year after tyson wheeler and cuttino mobley left).
Korver has been good quietly also.17.0 PPG2.50 RPG57% FG80% 3PNot great, but an improvement from last year.
To tell you the truth, it's crazy to have this thread after teams have played 2-3 games. BUT, if the award were to be given out today, I think it would have to go to Barbosa. He's playing absolutely great ball, scoring at a high level, running very hard, nailing 3's in his sleep, and he's also my early 6th man winner.
But yall have to remember, if Qrich goes from 13ppg to 18ppg, thats a improvement, but its not better than going from 4ppg to 16ppg. You really have to compare the players activity the year before also.

However, I, too, will put down a couple of names:Leandro BarbosaHakim WarrickLamar Odom</span>
If the season ended today, I would give the MIP to Hakim Warrick, with odom coming in a close second. You could say that Odom was already good, but 28/9/7? Are you kidding me?
Here are my leading candidates for right now.
