Al i dont think your understanding where i'm coming from maybe i can start from the start.... Hank has not been great, hes been ok.... but he has been terrible this season for his standards. this is by far his worst season as a ranger that i can remember for him. He is getting paid to be the top goalie but he isn't play to par, I watch a lot of bruins games too and i can easily say Tuuka Rask has had a better year then hank this year, especially in the playoffs.... HANDS DOWN

Now, with that being said We beat the flyers without hank having to be amazing, which i can't say we would be able to do if torts was still here.... He didn't need to be amazing, he didn't lose us the series but he also didn't win us the series. He let up 3 questionable goals in 7 games (in my opinion if im able to have one ?)

Now if your going to get paid to be the highest paid goalie then your expectations are going to rise, you want to get paid to be the best you got to play like your the best... I can't speak for goalies in the west but i can say that tuuka rask is best goalie in the east right now....

With that being said if we are going to beat the pens Hank has to be the best goalie in the league.

******I AM NOT A HANK HATER I LIKE HANK HE IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE GOALIES***** i just get mad when he doens't poke check and he sits back in his crease and is not aggressive, i like aggressive mad hank..

There al i explained everything for you, now can you stop saying that im a hater about hank please.

Can you quote where I said Mr sleeps stop being a hater. I dont care what raask is doing or anyone out west. Bottom line. Game 7 gives up one goal and the words out of people is he has to stop that. GAVE UP ONE GOAL. Now you know where I stand. Shall we go through each and every shot in this series? I bet you there were more than 3 saves that should not have been saved.

Was he great like game 6 and 7 vs washington. No. Did I say he was great? You bring up salary...well if nash scored a couple of times this series could have been over in 5.

Well, I figured the rangers would come back with a solid game, Flyers gave me some hope in the third, hope that seemed far away in the second if not for Mason. As a flyer fan it's a strange feeling to see a goalie keep the team in the game, something to look forward to next year, and with some of the dead wood gone (f'n hartnell has to go, he only seems to have some compete in him after the whistle), and some guys in the minors who have looked coming up it could be a different/better team. Good luck against crysby, I really hate pukesburgh, so I'll be watching the games hoping the rangers knock the crap out of them.

    Cheers!!!

One thing about Hank, he is at his worst when he tries to handle the puck.
That's his real weakness as a goalie. Otherwise, he's top notch.

Tough series man, you guys hung in there right to the end as expected. If Mason plays the whole series you might have been the ones celebrating.

Job well done with all the sweating to the last minute and heart attacks as usual. Thank god, I don't have to see the stupid faces of Simmonds, Hartnell and Giroux anymore...LOL. Flyers gave us a tough fight, no doubt.
Now we get to see Crybaby, fake goon Kunitz, Malkin the Shrek and cheap shot artist Neal. This is even worse. Hopefully the good guys have some energy left in the tank for the second round.

Great win, the Rangers should have won this game 5-1 but a win is all that matters. Stralman probably played one of the best games of his career even taking the body. Good for Carcillo forcing AV to play him now and for Pouliot on a great pass by Brassard, another guy who's going to have to step up his game. Nash had some chances and hit a post but his effort on a few one on ones was lacking to say the least. The refs only called 3 penalties the whole game so they did keep the whistle in their pocket although AV seemed pretty animated by the too many men on the ice call since it was made after Coburn complained. They missed Philly playing a whole shift with 6 later in the game.

Time to move on to Pitt and break that goose egg. Let's Go Rangers!

If these guys don't score against that team and goalie, we are F'd. Nash, Brass, Hags all need to score goalS.

I take back what I said about Carcillo when the Rangers traded for him. Rangers likely do not win this series without him. It kills me to say that cus I disliked him (and that totally gross moustache) for so long but, gotta give him props for coming up big when it mattered most.

That was a sneaky very good deal by Sather. Full credit where due. Sather had a very good season IMO.

If CK ever comes back, I would take Dorsett out and leave Carbomb in.

CK could be back ECF...maybe. Doubt this series. Just started flipping shots at best. Very soft.
