5 reasons:-New ball. T-Mac's shot is one in which he line drive into basket, and relies on ball hitting back rim. With the new ball, it grips the rim, and the ball bounces off back rim to front rim and then out. This has been a problem for him so far, guaranteed.-Rusty. He only played 47 games last season, and first day in camp he said he felt like he forgot to play basketball, meaning he didn't work much on his game in offseason. He is going to have to work into his shooting rythym, which could take up to over a month.-He is being too passive. He is not looking for his shot at all. In game 1 vs Jazz he was, and was 7-15 in 1st half I believe. In 2nd half nothing was going down, but he was still being agressive. He wasn't agressive for his shot against Mavs and against New Orleans. Yes, Yao needs more touches this year, but this team NEEDS T-Mac to get his 25PPG or so.-Not going to rim enough. He has seldom cut to rim looking for his shot. When he does he just jogs, and fades away from defenders. He needs to go in strong, and right at basket. With his size and athletic ability, no one can stop him. He is also shooting too much on right side of court, while according to the NBA.com hotzone from 2004-2005 he is much better on left side.-He is a SLOW STARTER! Back in 04-05, for November he averaged 17PPG on under 40% shooting. Some of his games... 6-18, 6-14, 8-19, 6-15, 8-23, 5-15, 1-11. Very similar to this season, eh? As I have said before, I'm not too concerned. he has taken his shots, they're just not falling.

Yeah, they are going to make me make a private email address, and it is just a trial offer as they want people to pay. Whatever. If you want you can post my top 5 reasons and see what people say.

TMac imo isnt a great shooter at all.. hes just a great scorer, 2 different things yaddadda? I dont remember the last time I saw him hit a wide open 3, he usually just hits it when he has to. this whole teams shooting has to pick up.. Battier is shooting decent, Yao is excellent, and Alston is so-so.. Wells will pick it up after a while I'm sure.. it just all depends on TMac now..

He is a GREAT shooter. He's a lot like Kobe as a shooter, streaky, but when he's on he is unstoppable. Mostly all his points come from jumpshots. He is usually at around 150 3's for season, 2hich is around 2 a game for him. He hits a lot of midrange shots as well.Unfortunately we haven't seen the great shooting T-Mac since 04-05 (outside of a few great games last year).
