The Heat. Im not saying they wont make the playoffs. But I see then in the low seeding. Mark me on this one
I'm not sold on the Rockets or the Wizards. I know both have pretty good teams, but I just have a hunch they will disapoint people to a degree.
The Rockets have been disappointing somewhat, but I don't think (and I hope they won't) disappoint the whole season. The Rockets shooting and, worse, defense has been on-off a lot. They were great against the Mavs, but really bad against the Hornets and Jazz. Plus, Van Gundy is still experimenting with the lineup, and a lot of them hasn't worked very well.
Like I have said before I think that the Heat will really show their age this season. I am not riding them off as contenders or anything, but that roster is just old and fatigued, and when the best young player D Wade says he is fatigued already 3 games in because of his offseason, it spells trouble for the Heat.
I say give it another week or 2, then you can accurately say which team will disappoint. The Kings aren't looking that good at this point, though.

They are off to a 3-1 start so far and seriously I think you just don't like the Lakers
Orlando. Suppose to be a playoff team but I don't think they have enough to make a legit run at the moment. In time maybe, but not this season.

But everyone seems to think that the Lakers will do well when all I see is this:Smush Parker - Known to breakdown in tight situationsKobe Bryant - 30 shots a night on a team that was barely over .500 Lamar Odom - True, he has nice potential, but he hasn't stepped into it yet, and he isn't getting youngerBrian Cook - Well he can hit 3s, sometimesKwame Brown - Small Hands, questionable attitudeRadmonovich - Big man who can shoot, but do nothing elseEvans - Loads of athletiscim, not much elseWalton - Perfect complementary player but sometimes seems to be lostSasha - You can see the poteintal, when he drinks a million more protein shakesBynum - If he has potential he's not stepped into it yetMihm - Nice fundamentals, but doesn't have the skills to dominate, liability on defenseTuriaf - Energy player but hasn't done anything yetFarmar - Well, we'll just have to wait and see

He's in his prime right now. You are forgetting that the Lakers have underrated defense, with Odom, Kobe, and Kwame. Brian Cook doesn't/shouldn't start. Evans is a great stopper. Bynum has shown improvement, but hasn't cracked his shell yet. Turiaf has put up some nice number, I put him on my fantasy team recently and he hasn't dissapointed. Farmar could step in right away also. You did all the negatives and didn't even mention Kobe's minor injury?
Rockets have been a tad dissapointing, only because of Mac's shooting slump and team being inconsistent. Both will improve and this team otherwise has been great so far.Suns have been dissapointing, but like Rockets, will improve.

Alos The Rockets, Pacers and the Mavs Will have worse seasons than expected.Rockets - cant seem to get it right at the moment, I just get the feeling the wont.Pacers - Will have off court drama's and a major injury....again.Mavs -they are a marked team now, people will be gunning for them. Will make the playoffs, but I think they will be 3rd or forth seed. *braces for backlash over Mavs comments*

The Rockets will have a mighty fine season. T-Mac just needs to find his stroke, and JVG needs to smoothen out the rotation. Everything else so far has been great.

All that you said means nothing because you didn't mention really anything else. How about some main positives. They have the best and most unstoppable player in the word on their team.Lamar Odom is playing great so far this season. They have the best head coach in the leagueThey have pretty nice defense going for them. They were an above .500 team last season and only got better.Your just being a typical Lakers and Kobe hater...
Dissapointing teams? Memphis Grizzlies. Alot of people probably didn't expect them to make the playoffs, but I bet you no one had them being the worst team in the League.Milwaukee. They had a bunch of injury problems, a bad coach, and a lack of chemistry. They have quite a bit of talent on that team, and I had them as a low playoff seed in the East. Dissapointing team.New Jersey. Simply put: Who the hell had these guys not winning their division, and having to BATTLE for a playoff spot? The Nuggets have dissapointed me in the After-AI trade era. They havnt shown much chemistry. They will probably get a 7th seed or something around there, but I expected them to move to the leagues elite. Maybe they will find that chemistry sooner or later.
Nuggets just had such an crazy season, and I don't understand why anybody (even if the Nuggets didn't have to deal with suspensions, etc.) expected Denver to make any noise this year. This year is going to be all about experimenting, etc. It takes time, and with a full training camp under their belt I think we'll see what the move means for Denver next season. If they are still struggling next season, we'll know it was a bad move for them, but I see it working out next year.I can see why Memphis is disappointing in a way, but then again Pau was out with a broken foot, and they are nothing without him.NJ really disappointed me despite the fact that they lost Krstic and Jefferson to injuries. We all know how bad the Atlantic was (and still is), but even with only Kidd and Carter they should be playing better than they are.
