    THE VERDICT

    Not only is 24 not showing any rust -- or at the least, it had time to get rid of the rust it had built up by Season 8 -- but they are diving right in with a premiere episode that would fit right in with the best hours of the original run.

    9.0=AMAZING
    In a welcome return, 24 doesn't disappoint and kicks things off in style with an intense, fast-paced premiere.

    +Terrific action scenes.
    +Solid intrigue with president.
    +Interesting new characters.
    +A reminder that nothing's quite like 24.
    – Slight nit-pick, but currently no info on what Jack's been doing for four years.

    Yes. Thanks for the reminder to put it on my DVR. I'm sure it won't record it as "24" which I have a season pass for.
