Tanaka doesn't seem to be at his best today, already losing 2-0 & 40 pitches in the 2nd inning.

As we go to the 4th inning the Yankees are still looking for there 1st hit. Hell....there 1st base runner. So far 9 up & 9 down.

Another HR from the Rays. now its 3-0 top 4 nobody out Tanaka already over 60 pitches. And after idiot Girardi used 8 pitchers last night I have no idea who's going to come in if Tanaka gets knocked out early. So far 3 runs, 7 hits & only 1 strike out.

After Ellsbury gets the Yankees 1st hit in the 4th Teixeira hits a 2 run bomb. 3-2 Rays.

Homers are good to get back into games but hopefully they can get the hits to win the game.

Man, I'm glad Joe Madden is not related to John Madden...!

I wouldn't want to be blitzed, time for the Hail Mary?

Stunned McCann watched strike two's change up inside go by....! Walk Tex to get to McCann, WTF?

The Ump is being to nice, toss Mad-den(sp?)- out for arguing balls and strikes...what's the Ump waiting for?-Ray-durs Nation? No not the Silver and Black...

Left 'em loaded, 0-13 w/RISP....WT-Heck. Time for Wiffle Ball Practice. (where one has to learn to hit any and everything).

This is a feast or famine lineup. Absolutely disgraceful to not come away with the lead in that inning.

Tanaka really settled down in this game after a rough start.

Innings 1-3 he gave up 3 runs on 7 hits with 1 strike out.
Innings 4-7 he gave up 0 runs on 1 hit with 4 strike outs.

And I really like this kid Betances. 27 strike outs in 16 innings with a 1.78 ERA

Innings 1 through 3 = no runs & no hits.
    Innings 4 through 8 = 9 runs & 12 hits.

I could get use to this.

I'm glad the bats woke up. Another loss today wouldn't of been good.

Two teams I hate to see the Yankees lose to are Boston & Tampa Bay. Yankees gave them a woodshed whacking today after last nights giveaway.

Has Tanaka set a Strike Out Record, for all 1st year MLB Pitchers, ie, his number of K's per his quantity of games pitched to date?

In other news: Dee Gordon had 5 hits today. Only Jerry Hairston obtained 5 hits in 1 game, in the history of the Bums.
Donnie likes Gordon alot and has said as much.

It looks like the Bums may not tender Hanley Ramirez a FA offer after this season. Freeing up Hanley to become Jeter's replacement next year. *** (personally I'm not real impressed with Dee, he was as error prone as Steve Sax, Marianno Rivera, who both couldn't throw to 1st base routinely, when in L.A.; not until they went to the Yankees, could they overcome their defensive errors).

*** I wouldn't tender H. Ramirez an offer to come to NY. Ramirez has been to injury prone. Sure his bat catches fire at times. He can carry a team, although he's not healthy often enough to really say he can do as much. Besides health, I think the Yanks could find a much better SS, both with glove and bat. Hanley is making a ton of cash. For that amount, they could damn near have anyone available at SS. I'd much rather see Tulo, even Stanton the Braves SS; as the Captain's replacement next year.

I'll add Tulo to my Santa Winter wish list, wait I already have. All I got was Coal last year, so I'm setting a Reindeer trap this Xmas. If I get coal, I will use it to cook Venison....

...this is why I don't like posting during games.

I don't either care to post during the couple of Yankee games we get, if lucky.

I can't concentrate on the game and PC, at the same time. Can't chew gum and walk neither...!

Only time I usually show up to post, during a game. is when I don't get the game here, on TV. Only way here, to find out what's going on there. in the Bronx; on a game to game basis. Only the good people here are tuned into the game, lucky bunch...!

If I get the game here, I don't come to this smorgasbord, until the I hear the Fat Lady Sing.

To often than not, I'm a lucky sort to get those 2 games a week, maybe 2, maybe 3, maybe 1 or none, per week. Today we got 1 inning, MLB TV of the Yanks game. As MLB TV news was merely jumping from game to game.

In good, great years, so often we would get 5 games a week, month after month.

As you all know my DirecTv versus Time Warner Brother-Cable plight. To date, not but one inning of Bums games, only some Halo-less Angels. No YES channel without buying the whole enchilada of DTV Extra Innings.

I will never take getting every Yankee Game for granted again, dear Lord if you bless me enough to ever do so again, I swear I won't even listen to Bums games on the Radio. Thank You Vin Scully.

I mostly post during the games as a benefit to the others that don't get to see the games. This way I can kind of give them a verbal play by play on whats going on.

There's several ways to follow the game. Simulated games like "game day" are everywhere.

...I also provided a couple of different links awhile back that allows anyone with a broadband connection to view virtually every televised live MLB game for free.
