remaining in regulation. Gm1 LA 2 ANA 2
There is no question(Chicago may differ) one of these
two teams will be in the SC finals.

and folks...............it is Marian Gaborik with the game winning goal in OT.

LA Kings are an amazing team. Down 2 Dmen and they steal Gm1.
Gabby was quiet the whole game until the very end. And the BOOM....BOOM.

Yeah Pasta......F'k that azzhole. He knows squat.

Gabby now has 8pts in 8gms these playoffs. What a great trade for LA and one that offered high reward if Gabby could stay healthy.

Hmm a healthy gabby...go figure...as I mentioned in a other thread...when bitching about the former coach gabby is not a good example as he scored 40 goals in a season for the former coach

We got a guy who completes our strong 4th line. A guy who plays on our 3rd pair on D. And Brassard who is the C on our best line the past 4 months. I think we did okay.

On top of that if we had Gabby's 7.5 mill on the books this team would look different and lack the depth we have. The depth that has been our best asset thus far. We had 9 guys score 15 goals (if you include MSL) and McDonagh had 14. Pretty solid stuff.

This is about a great trade for LA, as 31 mentioned, not a oh how did the Rangers make an awful trade. The Gabby situation worked out well for us. And the Kings made a great move getting him from CBJ. Similar to the Carter deal for them 2 years ago.

Happy for Gaborik. He is still a very good player but as Chuck said we did just fine in that deal. Gab is a UFA in July, I could see him still playing here.

One thing about Gaborik is he scores his goals in the dirty areas still. He is not big and not physical but he pays the price on goals. He is in front of the net a lot on deflections and just goes to the greasy spots. I don't see Nash doing that as much since his concussion. The Kings are a tough out even more so with Gab
