Philadelphia 76ers point guard Michael Carter-Williams, who averaged 16.7 points a game this season, was the overwhelming choice for NBA Rookie of the Year in voting released Monday. Carter-Williams, one of the few bright spots in the Sixers' dismal 19-63 campaign, was only the third player since 1950-51 to lead all rookies in scoring, rebounding (6.3) and assists (6.2), joining Oscar Robertson (1960-61) and Alvan Adams (1975-76).
