    You aren't going to win.

They have the easilly rattled MAF in the net, and they are still waiting for the perfect shot/angle which is plain stupid. Just shoot the puck, go to the net and anything can happen. One things for sure, it worked for the Penguins.

Oh yeah, this team needs a real sniper, because Nash is just reluctant to be that type of player.

That wasn't the biggest issue tonight. We were a step slow, sloppy, and soft all night. Typical Ranger game with a series lead. 13 straight fellas.

Love that game 3 is tomorrow night. This team has to be angry for that game.

4-2 or 5-2 Rangers tomorrow night.

They're missing Kreider in a big way.

Yeah, I agree the Pens are missing Orpik. And not having Gibbons game 1 hurt them also. Lucky for us. All teams have injuries, so we won't use that as an excuse I wouldn't think.

Not an excuse but I'd rather have Nash out and hurt instead of Kreider. He at least uses his size and speed to create scoring chances.

That was a huge issue. With MAF in the net, you have to shoot the puck towards the goal. While you're right saying that this was a typical Ranger game after a win, however they were still in position to steal this game but were reluctant to shoot.

    Sad...but true Mess...LOL.

I don't think not shooting was a huge issue tonight. Not many times I said oh man how did you not shoot that. They never really even got into position to get good shots. That was the issue in my humble opinion. Soft all night.

diaz shoots the puck and he's got a little nasty in his game, j less is as soft could be. AV is all about offense, he obviously thinks j less is more the offensive dman but he cleearly is not, there has got to be a reason why the PP has regressed, and he is the only player i can think of as to why it has, when diaz was in it was a very agrssive pass and shoot shot shoot PP, now it fake fake fake go around and lose puck

He "gets" it on the offensive end which could unlock the pp.

i guess diaz is the savior for some of you guys, i personally feel he is a liability on D, i remember the last game of the season he had like 6 turnovers 2 which were for goals on the other team. Last game didn't mean anything because we had already clinched but mistakes are mistakes....., at this point im willing to try anything on the PP, i for one have always stated brad richards on the point is what is wrong with this power play, rather have 2 D out there... always been that type of guy. mcd and staal are good enough with the puck and got decent shots. but im not the coach, im not at practice, so its just from a outside eye looking in

who's saying he's Coffee/Orr? he's simply another attempt at solving this PP problem that could cost us the series. Look @ Gm 2, if we score even in just 1 of those early PP's the game takes on a whole different mode. Instead, Pit kills those 3 fairly easy, gets confident and then starts taking over the game.

I guess I am the only one who thinks that John Moore hasn't played bad and isn't the reason for the PP to be dysfunctional.

Moore hasn't been awful, but Diaz has more experience and offensive instincts at the point. Even if you give up a little physicality, that dosen't matter as much against Pitt, it's more about getting the offense fluid.
