The Philadelphia 76ers are looking at possibly getting two picks inside of the lottery this year as they own their pick from this year as well as the pick belonging to the New Orleans Pelicans. If the Pelicans don’t land in the top 3 of the draft, the pick will be going to the Sixers which means there’s a good chance a power forward is taken. Should that happen, Thaddeus Young is unlikely to stick around to see how things turn out in 2014-15. Per Tom Moore of Calkins Media If one of the top-10 picks is a ‘4’ man, Young won’t want to come off the bench for a team that might not win 30 games in what should be the prime of his career. Sixers coach Brett Brown said Young could play some small forward, but he’d have to upgrade his ball-handling and outside shooting for that to be a realistic alternative. - See more at: http://fansided.com/2014/05/04/nba-trade-rumors-thaddeus-young-request-trade-sixers-draft-pf/#!Ig5Rh
