    I agree.

And I'll just say that Brandon Roy was never my favorite player. I didn't particularly like his attitude or the way he played. Lillard became my favorite player one game into his career. I love the way he plays and conducts himself.

I'm a big fan of Pritchard's time in Portland, but to say he was more important than Roy seems to be a stretch. This franchise was almost dead, Paul Allen had sold the Rose Garden, and it was Roy who made PA get excited about the team again to the point he even repurchased the arena.

Allen technically didn't sell the RG, but your overall point still stands. I don't understand how KP was more important than the guys on the floor (especially when you considering how few moves he really made, and how many of his picks failed).

There are very few execs in this league that are more important to a team than any of the guys actually on the floor. They do exist, but they are few and far between. KP is nowhere near that level, though.

I assume this post is to bait me....not allowed by the forum, by the way.

I was born and raised in Portland and lived there for 40+ years. I think I have a decent take on all things Portland

So the last 50+ years you've lived in Houston?

No, it was to wonder how the fuck you'd know who was more important to Portland.

Bankruptcy, but yeah. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but saying Pritchard was more important than Roy is just a dumb POV, IMO.
