Isn't this supposed to come out today?

Curious to see if LA made a team. Reading how some ESPN dudes voted, he might get snubbed altogether.

Wow. They have one guard and 3 forwards on the first team.

    G. Harden
    G. ?
    F. Durant
    F. Lebron
    F. Griffin
    C. Noah

Edit. NVM. This just appears to be top 5 in MVP voting, not the first team.

I hope he doesn't make any of the three teams.... because LA would fucking go nuts on the Spurs.

I woulda put LA @ 4th. 6th at the lowest. Below a guy whose team won 43 games? Come on, voters.

It's selfish but I agree! That would almost guarantee a laMonster performance in the rest if the playoffs.

You do have to remember that the MVP voting has nothing to do with the playoffs.

I hope none of our players get any post season awards. As Stotts has said, our guys play better when they feel slighted and have a chip on their shoulder. Remember those ESPN preseason player rankings that had Wes as the 130th best player in the NBA? That totally lit a fire under Matthews and he played the best ball of his entire career over the first two months of the season - and was a huge reason we got off to that 22-4 start.

So yeah, go ahead NBA, keep selling our guys short. It will just motivate them to continue to prove you wrong.

Steph Curry and Jason Whitlock said Aldridge should've been third. Not sure why he finished so low.

Cuz the NBA wants LaMonster to come out. Better ratings, better battles and they are tired of LaSofty.

Obviously the problem is that all of our games are played at 11PM eastern time, so no one back east saw any of our games.

We need a bulletin board material thread for the second round. The Spurs aren't giving us much to go on though, so maybe we have to invent some and post it in its own thread. Where is Chandler Parsons when you need him?

That's one thing I totally respect from Pop and the Spurs. They don't play mind games. They just come and do their work and let that speak for itself. I'm sure there are "behind the scenes" mental strategies, but the entire team are great poker players.

I think complimenting your opponent profusely IS a mind game. Didn't Jordan befriend his opponents off the court before going out and absolutely destroying them on it?

The writers totally disrespected LMA, but I can't say I'm not a little bit happy.

I love a pissed off Aldridge.
