You will win 1/3 of your games because you deserve to.
You will lose 1/3 of your games because you deserve to.
It's how you play the other 1/3 that will determine if you are a champ or chump.

This series we saw the Yankee fuck up game 1
We saw them deserve a win in game 2/
We saw them deserve a loss today, overall rating chump.

When pitching against Boston & Tampa I hope CC is issued a pre game diaper.

Actually 67 was a great year...! Got Willie Mays autograph that year, along with McCovey, Marichal, McCormick, Perry,....

The best game(s) I ever seen in person, were in the 60s, no doubt.

60s = an epic time for MLB. "A Day to Remember" an era to never forget. (still got my Mick Buttons. handed out that sad day).

Heck, any one of us are almost old enough to be your Father-Luke..! Well at least your big brother, my friend...!

Does that mean: you may be the offspring of Hippies, Dead Heads, or Flower Children??? LOL...(and we drank legally at 18)...

Watched the Kent State Massacre Doc. this weekend, a bad time, a horrid day. Tricky Dicky should of been hung at Kent St. (May, 1970).

Dad is the anti-hippie. He became a secret service agent in 71. Mom and dad graduated HS in 63, they didn't experience much of the sixties or seventies, lol!

hey Rick I got some Prep H for you buddy...I can't use it to brush my teeth any more....

the only hippies I knew growing up were definitely not my parents, not myself either.

But much like your parents, mine were busy building B-52's... Me, I was too busy going to school. Tho' school brought its share of trials and tribulations, NTM-smoke filled rooms, great muzak, and the Dean of School crashing in on our party....hehe...!

1967, the "Summer of Love" I arrived at McChord Air Force bas fresh in from duties in Japan, Viet Nam, and the DMZ in Korea. What a wonderful reception we got returning home. My next duty assignment was Fort Devens Mass. One day a 10th Special Forces and myself were in uniform in Boston when this guy walked up asking what the hell we thought we were doing in Boston. Without missing a beat the Special Forces Trooper quipped "We're just killing time until we can go back to Nam & start killing people. The guy beat a hasty retreat. Than God those troopers coming back from the Iraq and Afghanistan are treated with respect.

They're talking about a MAJOR parade down the canyon of heroes when the troops return & I think its a great idea & I truly hope it happens. What happened to the Nam veterans upon there return was a disgrace. We CAN'T! let that happen again. And God willing it happens soon & EVERYONE is back home safely with there family & loved one's.

Not trying to justify what Sterling said, pretty narrow minded IMO but he did say it in the privacy of his own home. I mean that has extortion written all over it by that bimbo. As far as what Lasorda said, I can understand the position this broad put his friend in but he shouldn't have said what he said either. Wishing someone harm in a public forum is not the smartest thing he can do.

All in all though I'm beginning to think that only white people can be racists.

Agreed... Despite what Rickysapreal will say, I firmly believe Sterling was dead wrong for saying that and was an idiot for thinking it.

Yes, he was entrapped and sabotaged by a gold-digger, but that doesn't excuse him...

Losarda was wrong for saying/thinking what he said... I more thought the way he said it was funny... saying I don't wish bad luck and then saying he hopes she gets hit with a car... seemed to have major hints of Yogi Berra...

Regarding only white's being racist... did you see/hear what Michael Jordan said?

People do change, and Jordan should not be punished for something he did in the past (even though Paula Deen was...) I just thought this would help the world realize (although most will ignore the fact) that whites are not the only race which can be racist...

I can't find the article but in yesterday NY Daily news Leslie Jones a black comedian on SNL did a sketch on slavery. & was verbally crucified for it. Said Jones, " If Chis Rock or Dave Chapelle put this in a joke, or Jay Z & Kanye put it into a rap they'd be called brilliant". And she's right, people just need to lighten the fuck up.
