Roberts, along with Markakis, Weiters, and Hardy were Oriole players I respected. When the Yankees signed him to play 2nd Base I was somewhat concerned given his history from '10 forward. I have been pulling for him to succeed despite the slow offensive and defensive start. Glad to see he had a bomb that gave the Yankees that win last night.
Saw the quick pitch after bomb highlight, looked like Jeter was adding to Roberts celebration. Game is game we all no that but sometimes you have to root for the man.
