It looks like Brazil is having serious problems http://www.washingtonpost.com/world...17e-11e3-937f-d3026234b51c_story.html?hpid=z1 It's really too bad. If you're hoping to lift large sections of people out of poverty, construction jobs are about as good as it gets. Easy to learn and you leave with a good skill. As well, you have a usable asset when it's done. Finally, you save on police costs as you don't have as many idle hands. If you're going to make the commitment as a government to build this infrastructure, you can throw huge amounts of money at cheap labor to work on these projects. Instead, it looks like large amounts of money went to corruption, both public and private. Crony capitalism at its worst.
Was booked to work down there for 6 weeks and I got dumped. Was bummed about missing out on that paycheck, but glad I won't be around all that shadyness..... Didn't want my head to end up in the middle of the town square on a stake while the local drug cartel dance and celebrate! Sent from my baller ass iPhone 5S...... FAMS!
