Doc Rivers... he is already on the hot seat in my opinion, and the only thing that may save him (aside from the C's improving) is Danny Ainge's wish to keep him on board...
if the Cs continue to play poorly, Doc will surely get the ax. danny has always supported him, but I'm sure he'd rather have doc's head under the guillotine than his own.
no f'n way avery gets fired. he won coach of the year last year, and the mavs are the defending west champions. a slow start is a concern, but cuban won't hit the panic button ANY time soon. and besides, he'd start trading players before he'd fire a coach as good as AJ.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (KCX @ Nov 7 2006, 11:31 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>if the mavs rate of winning continues.. avery</div>Not a chance. Avery Johnson is a great coach and it's not his fault for the way Dallas has been playing. It's a slow start. That's all.
Isiah Thomas. James Dolan has got to be sick of him by now, and with the Knicks looking like the Knicks I think Zeke is on his way out.I also think Musselman may be on a short leash. the DUI, and if the kings struggle he could be gone.
<span style="font-family:Tahoma">Yeah, the Knicks owner said that Isiah only has one season to prove that he's worthy coach. Right now, that seems most unlikely. I just don't see it happening... Sorry, Isiah.</span>

This team was in Game 6 of the NBA Finals last year, and they got better this year (due to a couple additions, plus young players growing), and not to mention he just signed an extension.I can't believe you said that, just because they started 0-3. They are still arguably the best team in the entire NBA, and I still have them winning it all this season. Wow, sorry KCX haha but that was pathetic.
I asbolutely gaurantee you, Sam Mitchell of the Toronto raptors will be fired before the season ends if they are not over 10 games under .500 at least with 20 games left in the season
Here are two that very well could be fired if the team struggles or if they dont win enough in the playoffs. Jeff Van Gundy-RocketsLawerence Frank-NetsLets say the Rockets don't make the playoffs and there werent any major injuries to T-Mac or Yao, Gundy gets the blame. Same with Frank. The Nets haven't made it past the 2nd round in the last 3 years. The team is talented and hasnt made that jump yet.

Frank is young, he's a good coach, but he hasn't had any big men depth at all, and his benches have always basically sucked. If management could go out there and land them a solid PF or C to go with the Big 3 (or even if they traded one fora good big), they would definitely get past the 2nd round, and possibly compete for a championship. I'm almost positive Frank recently signed an extension too.
Other than Doc Rivers and Mike Woodsen I don't see many coaches on the hotseat at all....For one their are few good replacements out there besides Ricky Adelman. I wouldn't mind the Bucks getting rid of Stotts but unless it's Silas or Adelman taking over I don't think it's worth it.
