Yes I know this is early, but I wanted some time to discuss the game with others, if it can't be done, I will delete it, and I will post it tommorow (its near 12 am in Toronto anyway )
__________________________________________Welcome to BBW's NBA Raptors GameDay! @ Philadelphia 76ers (3-0) @ Toronto Raptors (1-2)Arena: Air Canada CentreTime: 7:00 PM ESTPhiladelphia 76ers Starting Lineup PG- Allen Iverson SG- Andre Iguodala SF- Kyle Korver PF- Chris Webber C- Samuel Dalembert vs. PG- TJ Ford SG- Anthony Parker SF- Morris Peterson PF- Chris Bosh C- Rasho Nesterovic Injury Report(TOR) Pape Sow- Neck- Likely to miss entire seasonMatchupsThe Battle Of The C'sNo its not what you think. Its not Rasho vs. Dalembert, its Chris Bosh vs. Chris Webber, these are both teams most efficient and resourceful offensive/defensive big men down low. They are both used a whole lot and dependant. I expect the better of the two to be on the winning team. If Webber can roll of the pick with Iggy and Iverson the two AI's will do the rest. If Bosh can get his post game going, he will get double/triple teamed, he can then kick out for a quick three. Bosh coming off a 17 rebound effort against the Spurs, will be expected to work hard defensively. The PG battleReady to see The Fast and Furious NBA style? Two of the NBA's fastest players (and shortest for that matter) are ready to run out of the gym today. Expect Allen Iverson to score his usual 20+ PPG. Also expect TJ Ford to have that assist number around 8-12 again tonight. Whats the differance between the two? Besides Iverson's obvious skill, its his help that he has over Ford. Both Korver and Iggy are there to aid Iverson incase he needs help. Many time Iggy and Korver turn up short, but so far this season they are on fire, look for these three to use the perimete to their liking. Parker, Jones, and Peterson will have a tough time tonight.Off the BenchFred Jones vs. Kevin Ollie. The two arguale best scorers off each bench are asked to produce day in and day out. In some cases the differance in the game can be made by these two players. What I would like to see from Jones is his explosive first step, and his just natural explosive scoring, thats what gets the offense and the team itself going, look for Jones to provide a spark off the Bench.RF1's X-FactorPhiladelphiaKyle KorverKyle has been lighting it up this season, and expect his confidence level to grow quite a bit for this game. Both teams think they can win this, and Im guessing Kyle thinks the sixers can pull with a win tonight, expect him to ge the dishes from the inside on the outside taking the three tonight.TorontoMorris PetersonWhat can we say about Peterson? He needs to get his game going, and get his jump shot going. His defense has proved to be well and when he does do good on defense, the Raptors win period. There is no way to get out of this one, Peterson could be the key to the game today.RF1's 3 Keys to the GamePhiladelphia1. Take control of the Raptors froncourt. If used properly they can abuse the Raptors in the frontcourt, Literally give it to them.2. Use Korver's hot hand, this guy has been shooting well, so give him the ball, no questions asked.3. Make use of your defensive miss matches, the Raptors will throw differant guys at Iggy, Korver and Webber, if they read the court properly, they can score easily on the defensive swtiches.Toronto1. Run, Run, Run, again, the Raptors only know three set plays without running, their offense is set on the run, run the sixers slow frontcourt out of the gym guys.2. Rebound, in most games, the raptors when rebound 10+ more than the other team, they gain an early lead + end up keeping that lead, control the pace of the opponents offence, dictate what they do.3. Shoot. Mitchell wants the raptors to shoot 100 shots per game. Its proven in the NBA history a shot taken in the first ten seconds of the shot clock has a higher percentage of going in.My thoughtsHopefully we can stop the sixers run, and put an early loss to them in the season, I just think we are much faster than this team, Webber and Dalembert is not what exactly you call sprinters, and I think we can outplay them. My prediction for this game is 110-106 for the Raptors, hopefully we can go back to .500

Well this is a game we can win... it really depends on how well we defend Iverson's help because there is no stopping him so we have to force him into making bad shots and ofcourse limit touches from guys like Korver and AI2.
Nice game preview....I will be watching most of this game, I really look forward to seeing Anthony Parker. I want to see what he is all about.
Anthony Parker is savvy on offense, he can drive, shoot the mid range, and he is awesome at defense. As for the game, I think we can take this. We had 3 days of rest, whereas the Sixers are coming off a tough loss. Bosh should abbuse Webber + Dalembert, and AI might be tired. Our offense will pull us through.Hopefully we get this one, going in 2-2 against the Hawks.
