He usually scores 35+ points on San Antonio. I know it's different now, he's not the same Amare, but it's still going to be a good matchup.</span> CelticBalla's Extra Thoughts/NotesYes, that's right. Amare is getting his first start of the season. I hope he really gets involved and I hope he has a good game. This is also going to be Jalen Rose's Suns debut. CelticBalla's PredictionI think Phoenix is going to pull this one out in a close one. I think Amare is going to have a good game, I think Phoenix is sick of losing, and I think they will come out with a lot of fire. I say Phoenix wins by 8.
You said I could do all Suns games. Well, nice write-up but I think San Antonio and Dallas win the next two before the Suns make their run.

I was bored last night so I just decided to make them both, and I forgot. Sorry about that.
It's okay. You or Stat can take the Saturday game since I'll be in Mexico but I got tomorrow's game vs. Dallas.
25-21 Suns after 1 quarter. Stoudemire did a decent job in 6 1/2 minutes. Nash had a good start. Barbosa is giving us some points and made a really nice shot near the end. Kurt has played some solid D. Good first quarter but lets see if they can keep their leads now.
50-49 San Antonio at half time. They made a nice run at halftime. Amare is playing well. He's scoring plenty of points. The Suns are mostly doing a good job except for Diaw who has had a terrible, terrible game.
Wow what has happened to Diaw this year? I expected more out of him but I think he is struggling not being the go to guy in the paint but instead it is Amare.
Well he wasn't much of a go to guy last year most of the time. I think it's just a slow start. He really seems out of shape right now but has had some good moments at times this year.I don't know what the Suns are doing double-teaming guys and leaving open 3-point shooters. Kurt was doing a nice job on Duncan. No need to leave open Parker. The 3rd quarter ended on a good note and the Suns lead 75-70. Amare has 5 fouls. Nash is having a great game.
Ohhh, overtime! Bell is playing well for us. Almost won the game for us with that 3-pointer and free throw but just couldn't make that last one.
Another lead given up. Bell and Nash couldn't bring us back. If you take out the two missed free throws Duncan really dominated at the end.
I think Bell injured his shoulder there at the end. They had him lift his other arm straight up, and it looked like he was cradling his right arm. I really don't think it was just him getting the wind knocked out of him. Hopefully for the Suns, it's not too bad though.
Although it sucks to lose I like how the Suns were there the entire game with the Spurs having a field day at the free throw line and not having an answer for Amare :happy0144:
Wow that was a really good game - when Tim Duncan had that 3 point play at the end I thought it was over so I left for a second. Than I came back and I saw Diaw at the line - I can't believe he missed that...choke. But Yeah, great game. I always love watching the Suns.

And that 3 in overtime got us close.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (dsounG @ Nov 8 2006, 09:22 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Wow! The suns got robbed on some bad calls at the end of the game. The shot clock expired and the refs blew that along with Barbosa getting fouled and the refs called a charge instead.

Oh and looking back at the highlights last night it seemed to be Raja's ribs, not shoulder. I hope it isn't serious.
