Can we focus on the positives about this season for once?

In case it's escaped your attention, Nate, the Spurs are a damned good team and they're playing the best they've played all season. Every guy on the bench is playing with so much confidence right now it's just unreal. It's going to be interesting to see if they can keep up their shooting % when they come to Portland. If they can, they're unbeatable and they're the odds-on favorites to win it all. No shame in a young squad like the Blazers losing to the eventual champs.

He's not trolling, he just needs our help to seeing the positives that are starring us in the face.

I didn't say there was shame in it. I said it's depressing to get dominated this completely. Losing isn't bad, but getting swept would really suck.

No, I see plenty of positives, but you're acting like the season is over. It's not over yet. It's like you're having the funeral before the body is dead.

You have no clue what trolling is, clearly.

Not at all. I'm just pointing out of a few of the positives. I was actually hoping that people would add a few more to the thread. There have been many.

I do! I'm really good at it. So good at it that when I do it no one ever calls me out on it.

There was a huge masturbation session after game six of the Houston series, did you miss it?

Dude, it's okay to masturbate more than once every week or two. Stop being so repressed. Wank one out, you'll feel better.

I'm with you on this one Sly! #1 seed in the west protected home court and it's not the end of the world. This is why they play 7 games. Blazers in 7! Go Good Guys!

No worries. After the excitement of winning the Houston series, everyone was a little drunk with success. I guess I've been a Blazer fan long enough to temper my excitement because I've been stabbed in the heart too many times.

This is a big one for me, but it seems to be across most of the organization. Allen seems to have found a GM he can work with, Olshey seems to have a knack for roster building and he nailed the Damian pick. The team plays a fan-friendly brand of basketball, so even if I don't think they're built to win it all, at least I'm entertained.

I'm still feeling great about this season. I'm very confident we would have done much better had we played LAC or OKC in the second round, but losing to the best team in the league isn't that bad. I also haven't found myself getting very angry during games like I did against Houston. I think it's cause I actually respect the Spurs, and I can tell that our team just isn't ready to beat them this year.

I also think we are going to win the next two games, so it's far from over.

I wanted the Spurs and we got the spurs. Not because I think it would be a cake walk, but we have an opportunity to play the best in the league.

Regardless if we get swept or actually make a series out of this, the series with the Spurs is our measuring stick. It's better to not get lucky and face an easy opponent than to learn against the best in the league.

I'm very proud of this team. They've done far more than anyone expected and they are much further along too.

At this point I just hope we make a series of it. I would like to win both games at home and send it back to San Antonio. I just don't want to be embarrassed.

Problem is if we just focus on the positives then every player just becames untouchable again.

Not mine, I predicted 82-0 and a championship.
