AV knows what he needs, i have no worries with him around as long as he gets Sather to make smarter moves. He needs to sit with management and say i want X/Y from FA and here's who i dont think fits here anymore.

Chuck, please explain to me why you would cater to Hank now. He is signed. Locked up for the rest of his career. I'm not saying Ranger management doesn't listen to his opinion. But that's as far as it should go. Hank is not paid to make personel decisions. He is paid to play. He chose to stay. And he got paid well do stay. He should shut up and play his position. Which he really didn't do up to his capability this year.

First of all step, I never said Thomas was world class. I said he played unreal that season. He won the Conn Smyth that year dude, Boston doesn't win without him. Their PP was as bad as ours.

re Kelser, he said no originally. Then we pulled the trigger on MSL. THEN he reconsidered and said he would accept to NY but the GM decided to hold on to him. My money is that he goes somewhere on draft day.

Papa...you are missing it. I am not saying cater to Hank. My point is whether someone thinks we should or shouldn't cater to Hank doesn't matter at this point. He is signed for many years at an 8.5 mill per cap hit. A deal that I was okay with, but if you are being fair we need to wonder a little about. He is not the best goalie in the NHL, and yet his cap hit is 1.5 more than anyone else at his position. 3 mill more than Quick's. We'll see if it matters or not.

But the main point is the Hank ship has sailed. His deal is done. So whether you think cater to him or not doesn't matter one drop anymore. No one is saying let him make player decisions/moves, but in terms of money and cap hit, that ship has sailed.

I think Kesler gets dealt also. I still strongly doubt it is NY, but we'll see if he agrees and if we have the best offer.

Stepan is 6 years younger and scored 16 more points than Kesler this year. Kesler's not worth Stepan straight up let alone throwing in propects and draft picks. Hate on Derek all you want but he finished 2nd on the Rangers with 57 points this season and he's only 23.

We also need an attitude adjustment. Try like hell to win every game. We take too many off. Stick up for one another and play with more tenacity.

Thomas is so overrated, he is a gambling goalie that will make the amazing save and be out of position the rest of the game, IMO the bruins win the cup with rask who is a better goalie anyway, who to say rask doesn't make the same saves? he is capable look at him the past couple years. Thomas blows
