#2 is the next number to retire, but only after Tulo stops playing as he'll be wearing that number in pinstripes.

Yeah fat chance of that happening. And if we ever did get Tulo he's have to settle for 22.

    ...alot to digest.

Retired Numbers or Monuments....NO...( No numbers, no monuments or plaques other than-honorable mention plaques in a 2nd different part of Monument Park, at the most) for the following:
    Goose, Guidry, Petitte, no...!
    Williams, No...
    Tino...No...
Reggie not NO hell No...(only an honorable mention for his HR's in Series play).
Maris....hmmmm, hm, maybe an honorable mention for 61 in 61.
Like Yank5545 said:, only a 2nd criteria, and plaques without monuments, apart from the rest.

    Monuments, and retired numbers-yes to:
Posada, yeah, I'd give it to him. A notable honorable Yankee Backstop.
Torre, sure..".....". (only if he wears a Yankee Cap into the HOF).
    O'Neill, a game changer....sure no problem
    Scooter, yep...
Mo' and Jeter, how soon can we put these 2 up?

Tulo, shid I can't think of a better SS in the game...

Messier Messiah, your monument-plaque is being chiseled as we speak...short of GOD, Your deserving...LMAO.
... All we need is your Jersey number, so we can retire that too.

Number 9, Maris, Bauer, two very good players but my # 9 is Graig Nettles. On my all time all star Yankee Team Nettles is the starting 3rd baseman.

Over Clete Boyer? I agree. Then again over ANY Yankee that played that position.

Clete was a great fielder, ditto Nettles who had a better stick. In my Yankee all star choices I go from my time as a fan, and no that a@@hole A-rod never really got my vote. Nettles took no s@@t from anyone, just ask Reggie or George Brett among others.

Yes, but with a caveat. If the Yanks traded for Tulo, I'm pretty sure he could wear number 2 with Jete's permission....at least for 5 years until he goes into the HOF.
