My second favorite American League Teams are those that beat the hell out of Tampa Bay Rays & Boston Red Sox. Tonight the Orioles did the Baltimore Jig by sweeping Tampa Bay. Hang it in Baby!
Buck rated right up there with Casey and Billy Martin in my view. When the Yankees were looking for Torres replacement I was hoping Showalter could get back but as long as George was there I guess no chance.
Though he does do some things that make one wonder I' happy with Girardi. What that man accomplished with that rag tag team last year was amazing.
I agree, any team standing in the Yankee's way, lets beat them black and blue on the field, and out behind the house too... I think Buck got short changed in both NY and Arizona...all he needed was the Pitching staff, the D'back denied Buck...RJ and CS, the places Buck would of gone with those 2, & the rest also. Gerardi yes, has done a very good job, with a rag tag team(s), over the years.
