People still putting Kobe at the top? Look how well the lakers did to start out the season WITHOUT Kobe. Odom is the real MVP of that team.lol My list goes as follows.1. KG2. Duncan3. Dirk4. Wade5. Lebron

If Kobe Bryant doesn't crack anybodys top 5 list then they need to watch more basketball games. I guess this is the treatment you get when you outscore an entire team by yourself in the 3rd quarter. (Sucks to be a Maverick fan eh?) Lamar Odom is the real MVP of the team because he lead them to a 3-0 record? The first couple weeks of the basketball season means nothing. The Atlanta Hawks are 3-1, Let's crown them NBA champions. The Lakers may have started out 0-3 without Kobe but they would never make the playoffs without him for an entire season. Lamar Odom will never keep playing at the pace he is right now.Scottie Pippen lead the Chicago Bulls to the 2nd round of the playoffs during Jordans retirement. I guess he was the MVP of the Chicago Bulls. Michael who? [IMG]

Kobe doesn't know how to work with a team chemistry wise and never has. Shaq though is the perfect chemistry player.

If Kobe missed 20 games then you would have a valid point.

    1. Kobe2. Lebron3. Wade4. Dirk5. DuncanHow in the hell is anybody gonna put KG on their list and not Duncan? What has he accomplished that can even stand up to Garnett? I don't want to hear about how bad Garnett's teammates are. Duncan wills his team to victory when he needs to. As does everybody else on my list. I've never seen that out of Garnett.

Garnett and Duncan do all the little things that aren't noticed like defense and rebounding and plus they are efficient players. Garnett just doesn't get much help and well Duncan has done great with what he does for the spurs. Garnett definitely needs help on the offensive end with not just scorers but players with IQ.

Kobe Bryant has one of the worst teams in the NBA as his supporting cast. Luke Walton and Smush Parker are starters for gods sake.I think leading the Lakers to a 7 game playoff series against a title contender is great. Kobe isn't a team chemistry player? Well I think of it as, who would I want with the ball, or guarding the guy with the ball, on the last possession of a tie game. Yes, I'd take Arenas over Wade.

How he put the team on his back and won the championship?

    1) Steve nash - reigning mvp2) Lebron james - most dominant3) Dwayne Wade - a champion baby! 4) Kobe Bryant - the most skilled player5) Tim Duncan - has too many rings to be put behind KG

If this thread was about the best 1 on 1 player than I guess Kobe is your guy. If it was about the guy who does all the little things other than just scoring than Duncan and Garnett are your players.
