Refs owe the Rangers about 5 calls for that horseshit and a penalty shot. Only way to make it even. I do t give a shit. That call was so bad that these fed should be put down like a horse with a broken leg.
again, it's a shitty called but one that is made every time. No one was crying when the Flyers got called for the same thing in Rd 1 when a Ranger D shoved the Flyer forward into Henrik and got hte penalty.
Penalty on Pitt after crashing the net makes me feel better. That being said you cannot make a call like that on a breakaway.
My complaints about the refs all series has been the same thing. The pens RUN OVER Hank and slash him after the whistles but no calls ever. Rangers sneeze near MAF and it's a penalty. It's a joke.
This is comical. The Pens have like 5 breakaways on the PK in this series. GET MOTHER F'ING GIRARDI OFF THE PP.
And how many times in round one did Simmonds and Hartnell slash at and run Hank after the whistle. When you have a history of running goalies you get that call against you. Kreider does not have that history. Ref should have talked with the ref at center ice and the two linesmen to confirm the call but he never did.
Instead of whining about the refs, how about we whine about this PP. We have had chances to ice this game, and nothing. That PP was terrible.
The puck was in the net b/c Fleury got elbowed in the face by Kreider, who was pushed by the D. If the puck had gone into the net PRIOR to Fleury getting hit by Kreider, it would have counted. Not sure why it's so hard to understand. We see this call EVERY TIME. It's basically a strategy now for the D to push the F into the goalie to eliminated a scoring chance AND get a penalty.
