So how much has he sucked so far?Seems like everytime he gets the ball hes turning it over or making an offensive or defensive foul. :doh:He really needs to step it up a bit or Doc is going to have to do something about it.

While I agree TA tries to do WAY too much with the ball, I have to give him some credit. I'm always fair, and I have to give credit where it's due. You can't argue that TA played a very good game in Washington, and he played solid defense on Adam Morrison last night. But on the whole, he has lost his fan favorite tag. In fact, it's the total opposite now.

When Tony was a rookie, people loved him. Last year, Doc was forced to give him some PG minutes, and Allen took it to heart and he still tries to handle the ball. He's not a good ballhandler. 7/10 times he drives to the basket, he either turns the ball over, misses a layup, or just downright should have passed the damn ball.

I know it's frustrating to see him take Rondo's minutes dogma, but I wouldn't worry about that. Rondo will get time again. Tonight was an experiment to see how Delonte looked at the PG spot again (and I will admit, he looked a lot more comfortable), and he answered the cries for Gerald to play some minutes (which I am very happy about). But don't worry, Rajon will get minutes again, tonight was an experimental night, and a night where Doc wanted to finish strong with the veterans of the team.

EDIT: I will also say that I am all for Danny shopping Tony Allen. I don't see that big deal that was supposed to happen this summer happening any time soon (if it even does, it will be around the trade deadline, IMO), so if TA is included in a deal like that I would be happy. I honestly wouldn't turn down Tony Allen for an early 2nd round pick.
