Maybe we could get Rand Paul and Hillary Clinton to do a sort of co-presidency... Ted Cruz and Harry Reid could be Vice-Presidents.
In the early days, the VP was they guy who lost the presidency. Wonder what an Obama-Romney presidential term would look like.
This is the guy that's spending many $millions to take out the Tea Party. http://pagesix.com/2014/05/12/karl-rove-hillary-clinton-may-have-brain-damage/
Healthcare was fine until the governments got there hand in it. First they started regulating who could sell insurance in each State (most states taxed it). Then come Medicare, now that really screwed up most private retirement plans. I hated what it did to mine. Then we got the wonderful Ariska act. Among the plethora of crap this act did was codify the ability of employers to change retirement plans (health insurance ) by simple notifying the government. Bye bye the concept of an employee/employer contract. Quite frankly I can't think of a where the government intervention in healthcare has helped over the past 60 years period. Everything they did was a back step for me. They should restrict their efforts to the VA, that's about the only place they have Constitutional justification to administer healthcare. Of course you can see how that is going. Want the whole system in the same shape? I use the VA and like to have the private backup plan B. Plan B has been gutted by Obama Care. I bought insurance through the exchange my former employer set us up with. The only Medicare plan available here in my county is a Medicare Advantage plan and the only Doctor in plan went out of business a couple months ago. No other doctors are taking new Medicare patients on. I sure appreciate Obama giving my former employers the option, of providing insurance for me and wife and pay a tax to boot, or dropping our insurance coverage. Great government help!
When in doubt, vote for whoever isn't going to try to increase the amount of power they already have. Since you don't trust either party, why would you vote for one that will try to increase their influence?
