[IMG] @[IMG]Wednesday, October 8th - 10.00PM ETOk this is what I don't get. The Trail Blazers aren't that good of a team. But they seem to just beat the Lakers. 3 straight wins against Kobe and the gang is just humiliating. :thumbdn1: There's a lot more of a young atmosphere in Portland, now that could either help or hurt them (Although Brandon Roy will be out due to a "bothered" Achilles). We'll have to see. But I think that today that streak will stop. Let's look at what we got. Starting LineupPG [IMG] Smush ParkerSG [IMG] Kobe BryantSF [IMG] Luke WaltonPF [IMG] Lamar OdomC [IMG] Andrew BynumNow, our roster isn't even at full strength yet. But I have to say that the Lakers are really surprising me, and I'm extremely optimistic. Odom has been doing a lot better in comparison of how he started last year. Kobe hasn't has real time to prove himself. He's still recovering and this might be the day where he breaks out for 30+ for the first time in a long time.X Factor[IMG]My X-Factor for this game is Ronny Turiaf. He has being doing exceedingly well for what people think of him at first glance. Now even 15 points can be very dominating for him. And boy can he block! The last 2 games were not very impressive, but I think he can do his thang tonight.Key Matchup[IMG] vs [IMG]Both have put up big numbers so far. Both will fight each other to death for a win. Not really much to match up, but if any 2 it'll be these 2.CommentsThis will probably be an exciting game. I'm excitied to see how the Lakers will react to how they lost so many times to a team like Portland. I expect Kobe to finally show his true self and if he can still get the assists he's been getting, then even better. And Bynum is fun to watch no matter what game he's playing. He's 19 and doing extremely well.PredictionThere is NO WAY the Lakers can lose again. I'll think they'll com back hungry as hell. Lakers win this one, 102-97 :winkglasses:

Can't underestimate the Blazers, but I like the Lakers in this one too. Looking forward to seeing how Bynum plays coming off that amazing preformance last night.

What is it about the Rose Garden? The Lakers have lost there 4 times in a row. Well Bynum was a nonfactor tonight. He only played 18 minutes and got 2 points, but he was in foul trouble. Between this game and the Warriors game it looks like he really can't be expected to give a good performance two nights in a row (since both games were on the second of back to backs). Odom looked bad, he was aggressive at times but for the most part just couldn't do what he's been doing. Smush was good in spurts. Walton played well except for the 5 missed open layups. Kobe was looking like he did 5 years ago. Almost all of his points consisted of, "get ball, fake one guy out, drive to the hoop, fake another couple guys out, jump up, spin the ball up, 2 points". He was efficient too. But it wasn't enough to overcome bad games from pretty much everyone else.

Phil jackson is experimenting too much. He put a lineup which went scoreless for a whole 5 minutes. Kobe bryant was hot and what does he do? Puts him on the bench. Very disappointed :ranting:edit: Zach Randolph smashed. We need kwame against teams with bigs.

Ya I was suprised. Phil didn't really seem to be taking this game seriously or something.
