    I second that- 2000 Subway Series, was one of grand Yankee and NY Lore. It was Long overdue, plus it was Valnetine's le coup de grace, in defeat, like usual.

    It looks grim both Teams would be in position to meet soon in the Series. Odds decrease with another Subway Series; with the expansion of Playoffs. (ie, expanded Wild Card in playoffs).

    I imagine its going to be another couple decades before we are treated with a NY-NY World Series.
