It's fun to play GM and get your team to be really good. I don't have time to wait around to play 82 games before ONE season is finished..
I actually play games, and its about 10 times more fun than simming. My friend's a simmer and I'm a gamer. It's more rewarding when you win a championship. More intense to. For example, I was playing Madden 07 in my franchise, and I was 7-6, and went 3-0 in the final 3 games to come back and take the division. Then I got smoked in the first playoff game. Even though I got smoked it was more fun, and showed me where I needed to improve my team, rather than just looking at the simmed score.
yeah playing is much better, I always play all the games... Well I got this yesterday and decided to be a bad team, so I am the RaptorsPG-TJ FordSG- Morris PetersonSF- Andrea BargnaniPF- Chris BoshC- OlowakandiIm on my 3rd game, we are 0-2 because I play all star and I am not rly that good, I like a challenge. I lost by 20 to the nets and by 5 to the Bucks in OT.o yeah and I play 8 min quarters

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (CelticBalla32 @ Dec 24 2006, 02:41 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>I finally just finished my first regular season! I played all 82 games on 10 minute quarters (I didn't sim any, I hate that). I went 44-38, I won the Atlantic Division. Al Jefferson won 6th Man of the Year (12 points and 7 rebounds with a block) and Rajon Rondo surprisingly made the All-Rookie 1st Team (with averages of only 5 points, 2 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.5 steals). So, since I won the division, I got 4th seed in the playoffs, and I'm playing the Wizards in the first round of the playoffs. I havn't played Game 1 yet, but I will tomorrow. I heard the gameplay is harder in the playoffs and I also heard there are more dunk/layup animations. I heard the entire environment is much better, like real life. I hope all that is true, I can't wait to find out.</div> My first season is officially over. I just got eliminated by the Heat in the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals. I lost the series 4-1. I beat Washington 4-1 in the first round though. The Heat ended up winning the championship (vs. Denver). Wow, I finally finished season 1. I played all 82 games in 10 minute quarters, and the same for the playoffs. 92 games.
I started one a few days ago with the Kings, fantasy draft. My pick was 21st. I am 5-4 right now I think on Superstar.PG: Marcus WilliamsSG: Michael ReddSF: Carmelo AnthonyPF: Charlie VillaneuvaC: LaMarcus Aldridge (via trade)Bench:Gerald GreenDesmond MasonRyan GomesA 7'3" Chinese dude who's name I can't think of lol.Steve Blake (via free agency)My team isn't staked, but it doesn't suck. I was lucky and got Michael Redd as the 42nd pick in the draft somehow. Boykins went in front of him! Anyways, I love to run the 1-3-1 with them for some reason it just works. I don't want to go downstairs and check it to write down stats lol.

Gomes is listed as a PF and in my rotations I have him as my 2nd PF and 3rd SF, yet they always put him in at SF. They put Scalabrine in over him. I also have TA in my rotation as well, but he doesn't play often, I guess because I play on 7 minute quarters. In the last game I just played (Cavs raped me by 21), Allen got in, everyone except Rondo actually. I shot 6-30 with Pierce and Wally But Gerald had 12

I just had an amazing game against the Celtics in my Wizards association. I was losing the whole game, and never had a lead (until later in the game..I'll get to that in a second.) I was down 19 with 1:12 left, and I started running Fullcourt Trap, really getting pressure on Boston by throwing double teams that were really the 1,2 punches on them. I drew the game to 81-78, losing in the 4th with 17 seconds to go; Gil was out of the game, so I drove the lane with Daniels, he was fouled; I missed the first FT, and made the second. I had to foul them, so they wen to the line, and split their free throws. I subbed Arenas in, came down the court, and bombed a 3 on them to make it 82-81. They went up to the line again, and split their free throws once more.I took a timeout with 10.6 seconds left. I inbounded it to Arenas and isolated around the two wings with Arenas being guarded by West; I started to drive near the left baseline, stepped back, fadeaway, pop, at the buzzer. I tied it at 83, and we went to overtime.I ended up winning 104-87, blowing them out in OT. Antonio Daniels came into OT only having 5 points in the game, and later exploding, by ending the game with 22 points. Arenas finished with 42.
Im 2-1 with the Knicks on Hall of Fame.my last game vs Indiana I had 34 points, 11 assist, 4 steals with Nate Robinson, Crawford is injured for 25 days. Francis had 21 vs Indian and Marbuy hit clutch 3s to cloe them out. 96-89. Channing Frye went 1-10 from the field but had 7 blocks.

This is why I hate auto-subs, and I always do all my subs manually.
