When I saw that Paul Pierce got 19 rebounds in the first game of the season I was impressed, but didn't expect him to keep rebounding like that.3 games later he's AVERAGING 13...Any thoughts? Think he can keep it up?

I think he has a shot at a double-double, but 13 is a little out of reach. he might actually keep that up for the next month with Big Al out actually.

I could see him around 9 or so for the season, but definately not 13.

you never know, a lot of games for the Celtics turn into the Paul Pierce show, a lot of people last year thought his scoring wouldn't stay around 27 PPG because it hadn't in about three years coming into last season...you really never know with Pierce, he's an animal, I could see him averaging around 10 RPG

He has a real shot at a doubl-double but I would guess around 8 or 9 at the end of the season.

Pierce been a beast so far this year, I expect him to continue playing good however the rebounding numbers may go down a little but I don't expect them to go down that much.

Paul is a great rebounder and in this Celtic team he is probally the best rebounder who plays most of the minutes. He could see 10+ average, and I would even bank on it.

I definitely dont see him keeping up 13 a game, but it wouldnt be a stretch by any means for him to get 10 or 9 this season. Doc has decided to play somewhat small ball, and Big Al is out for a month so his rebounding numbers will stay high for a while. In time though, I expect Ratliff to gain alot of rebounds. His precense on the glass I feel is going to be tremendous in Boston. He made such an impact on the defensive end in his first night back with 3 good blocks on Okafor and others.

Pierce has always been a fierce and underrated rebounder. I expect maybe 8 boards a night this year.
